Project yellow ribbon distributes cards that look like this...
These cards are a call for help, you can bring them to a friend, family member or school councellor if your not sure how to talk about it.
If you need a card you can get one from the yellow ribbon project (see links) or, I can e-mail you one that you can print and/or send by e-mail
Let's all help stop teen suicide!
I first did this part of my page because I thought it would be a nice addition to my webpage and I wanted to do my part... now I realize exactly how nessicary it is to have this kind of a project, because I met Tim
Tim L. is a friend of mine... I'm not using his full name because he's not around to ask right now.... he's in the intensive care unit of the hospital. He gave me a scare this summer.... he shot himself in the head, point blank with a beretta (a type of gun). His best friend Brian found him. He was convulsing on the floor of the computer room, the window that I was talking to him in was still open, what this meant, was that Timothy shot himself in the head, while I was talking to him.
Tim was suicidal for months before he shot himself, and although to this day he says that this was an accident, that he tripped the safety while he was loading it.... and some people beleve him, some don't. I don't, because exactly one week after getting out of the hospital, he stabbed himself in the chest and punctured his lung. This time, it was on purpose, and he freely admitted to it.
I have sent the card pictured on the top of the page to Tim and one to his best friend Brian. Even though Tim hasn't picked his up because he is in the ICU of the hospital, he will get it when he gets back... Brian has probably recieved his, although I haven't asked him yet.
If you have a friend who you think needs one of those cards, don't hesitate to e-mail them one, that card is on my webpage for you to use, please do so if you wish
