Kemper Insurance is one of the leading insurance companies in the United States.

Commercial Lines Enterprise project is a browser based insurance quoting application which will be used by the Agents and Regional Offices of Kemper , to underwrite, rate quote & issue an Insurance policy for Commercial Auto, Worker’s Compensation & Business Owners. As a Designer and Analyst, my role was to understand the existing system, analyze it, extract requirements and develop Use Cases. As a part of design team , did the modeling of system, wrote pseudo-code’s and database specific design artifacts. Followed UML approach, used Rational Rose for designing, developed sequence diagrams, state transition diagrams & class diagrams. Managed the offshore and on-site communications. Wrote JSP’s, JavaBeans & Servlets as a part of development team. Done offshore code review’s.

Project : Direct Marketing Module of a General Insurance Software Product.

Yasuda Fire & Marine is among the top in the Japanese Insurance industry.

Direct Marketing Module is to give the Insurance Quote over the phone line through CTI, by asking certain set of questions from the prospective client. As a Software Engineer , my role was to understand the requirements, design, develop and implement this module. This involved designing the three tier model, conforming to the MVC design pattern so that it can be integrated with the existing product and allowing reusability of the existing code. Developed Client Data Bank, in which client data which has been entered by the Direct Marketing module can be viewed through the browser for client analysis.

This project was to add a new module of Underwriting(GUI & Web) in the existing General Insurance product developed in PRO IV. As a Software Engineer my role was to understand the requirements from the existing product, translate them into requirement specifications, design and develop the Underwriting module in Client/Server & web. This would allow to underwrite a policy over the web. Implemented the MVC design pattern.

This project was to develop an API, to be used in making multilingual GUI’s and data storage mechanism in Indian Languages. As a Software Engineer my role was to use the API and test it in different environments and tools. Developed test scripts. As a part of this project ,designed and developed the multilingual application for Election Commission of India which was deployed at various data collection centers for the Electoral Rolls. Implemented the data collection module for the internet.

Raymond is a market leader in the textiles industry in India.

This project was to develop and maintain a Client Server system which keeps track of the Synthetic yarn generation process, it involves the packing division and warehouse division, integration and having an inventory of yarn generated. As a Programmer Analyst my role was to understand the design specification and write stored procedures and triggers. Implement the Graphical User Interface in PowerBuilder and did unit testing and integration testing of the system.
