When this spell is active, the caster is at one-half of his level. This prevents the caster from adventuring, fighting (directly), or advancing levels. If the shade is destroyed, then the caster loses the 'shared' part of his levels. The spell s good for sending messages around the world due to the shades ability of unlimited travel. the shade cannot adventure, or fight, but he can defend himself, using the shared abilities. The shade has the ability to enter shadow form, thus granting him a 99% hind in shadows.
