When this spell is cast, it brings into existence a shimmering translucent tree of pure magical
energy. The tree takes form and solidifies itself for the duration of the spell (5 rounds + 1
round/level), allowing the caster to touch its branches. The branches of the tree are adorned
with a multitude of scrolls and other assorted parchments. These scrolls and parchments are
filled with the magical inscriptions of mages from across the planes of the multiverse. The spells
available at the time the tree is brought into existence are random at best (DM discretion). In
order to use the power of the tree, the caster must produce two personally written scrolls of
significant level (equal to or higher than the spell desired) and add them to the branches of the
tree. Once this is done, the magical energies of the tree will release the desired scroll from its
branches and then the tree will fade away. There are no guarantees that once summoned, the
tree will contain the actual scroll desired; however, the caster is still eligible to remove one of the
scrolls from the trees branches as long as the prescribed requirements above have been met.
It is said that the mage tree was created by Falcor (the lord of magic in the Bloodrage campaign
setting) as a gift to the wizards of the land. The tree may not be trapped or held by any magical
force known to mortal kind.
The material component for this spell is a small diamond tree of no less than 10,000gp for each
level of the desired spell. This component is consumed in the casting.
