This is a little page about Hanson’s appearances in England, and stuff like that. I started this on the 21st of June, 1998, so there wont be many appearances yet, but with there single (Thinking of You) out on the 22nd, hopefully there will be some more, as the promote it! It wasn’t that good coz lots of people don’t like hanson here (How couldn’t they?!) and they mostly like All Saints, Backstreet Boy’s, Five, and belive it or not the Spice Girls! Thanx, and I hope this page gives you and idea of Hanson in England, and England it’s self.
Some of these are appearances from before the 21st, so I don’t know the dates!
Hanson On live and Kicking!
Live and kicking was on BBC1 as a children’s program, which has different guests every Saturday morning. It was winter when it was on, and now has closed for the summer. Ike, Tay and Zac played their new single at the time, I will come to you, and later did an interview. The interview was of questions from people in the crowd of about 20 people, Zoe Ball, the presenter, and callers on the phone. The interveiw was funny, Ike doing an impression of Louis Armstrong, and when they were asked ‘Because they were home-schooled, did they have many friends’ They broke out into a hilarious scene of speaking into friends and trying to ring a friend hot-line. At the end, they had a competition, and zac was doing a presentation of the prizes, and chucked them everywhere, and I think he broke one of the CD’s ! After all that, Mike, the voice over man revealed to Zoe, that she did the whole interview, with a bit of marmite on her chin!
Hanson On Top of the pops (T.O.T.P) !
T.O.T.P Is a chart show, also on BBC1 at 7:30 on Friday nights. About 7 different acts perform live, without an interveiw, but it’s cool anyway! They performed I will come to you, with zac on a platform in front for once! Taylor made a mistake of singing Isaac’s part, and then his microphone slipped down, and he had to pull it up again with his mouth! Ohhhh, poor Tay, it wasn’t his day!!!!!:)
Hanson On T.F.I Friday! (Fri, 12th June)
This was the most funniest interview I’ve seen! T.F.I Friday is a sort of comedy program, that’s funny in it’s self! For example, one time, they wer chucking telephone boxes onto humungus trampolines! And another time they had a live satellite link that cost a million pounds, to France, where they had a guy called Cedrick, who didn’t have a clue about soccer, but was asked to commentate about it, Cedrick just said ‘I couldn’t care less!’ What a waste! Maaaad! Anyway, back to hanson! The came into the interview place, applauded by hundreds of adults, which I thought was cool! Tay, and Ike shook hands with Chris (The presenter) but zac hugged him:) They just chatted for a bit, about their gigs in Europe, as they’re on tour. After that they chatted about the world cup, and Ike tried to explain the off-side rule, which he got half right!J Then, influenced by Chris, Zac catapulted some fruit out the window! The first one went out the window fine, as he was aiming from a few meters away from the window, and the second one, went straight through, even though the window was almost closed! Cool, huh? Next they talked about swapping instruments, and it was so cute coz zac’ voice was breaking:)
After swapping around a tiny drum set in the corner of the room, because zac’s left handed, and he and Chris playd together, one stick each, but got interumpted by ‘The Musical Director’ (Taylor) Who said they wern’t playing right! Zac did a few rolls on one drum, and the when asked to do a roll all the way round, he played with Chris’s mind (As stated by Isaac) and hit each drum once! Then They did an accapella version of MmmBop, which was cool, and funny coz when Chris asked them to Tay pointed out that the Mike’s were just placed infront of them, and Chris joined in by saying ‘And we’ve rehersed it and all!’
The final bit of the interveiw talked about them being around for a while, and Ginger Spice NOT Joining the band! Then they jumpd down the stairs to play a very, very, very, cool ‘Thinking of You’ You should have seen Zac on the drums! It was amazing! Very Cool!
That was just a few apperances, There was also the concert but for horrible reasons, I couldn’t go to Wembly Stadium.L I f you have a reveiw of that concert, or any other ones, Please, please, please send them Here! Hopefully, they will be on T.O.T.P soon, so I will tell you about that, asap!
