Chapter 17
I soon saw Taylor walking down the hall towards me.
"Hey!" I said excitedly and nervously.
He was wearing worn airwalks, dark denim jeans and a white tank top, it was obvious he had quickly thrown them on, his boxers were messily sticking out of jeans, making him look way sexy. His hair was tied back in a ponytail.
"Hi" he said back nervously, which made me feel much better that he looked like he felt as nervous as I did. We didn’t speak right away, but it was a comftorable silence because we both knew we felt the same, words weren’t really needed.
Finally Taylor motioned for me to follow him, we walked down the hall a bit so we didn’t wake Stephanie up.
we stopped and Taylor looked up at me. "Lauren, I’ve never even seen you before today, but….he trailed off.
I knew exactly what he wanted to say, I gave him an understanding nod. "Taylor, today has meant so much to me, I am like living my dream right now, sure, I’ve had a teeny bopper kinda crush on you for like 2 years."
He started laughing, I smiled, "but, today, it’s just been something totally different, I’ve never felt like this about anyone before." I finished.
"Same here, I don’t know, we’ve been on the road for so long, I’ve never really had the chance to have an kind of relationship, none of us have. But all day, I knew there was something about you that just got me." He explained.
I leaned over, "It’s ok, you don’t have to explain" I whispered in his ear.
He gently locked his hand in mine. We walked down the hallways around the hotel hand in hand.
And as we were walking past the pool room, suddenly a smile spread across both of our faces, Taylor reached into his pocket and pulled out the hotel key ring, we looked down the hall to make sure the coast was clear, then he slipped the key into the hole and gently opened the door to the dark room. We laughed and shut the door.
"Betcha never done this before." He said mischeviously.
"No…I have to admit I haven’t." I said. "Taylor, if we get caught….." I trailed off as he put his fingers to my lips I looked through the darkness, still seeing his glossy blue eyes that shined with excitement.
The water from the pool gently lapped. He pulled his finger away from my mouth and slowly leaned towards me, I looked straight in his eyes as our lips gently locked. He kissed me lightly and then pulled away. "wow…" he murmered.
He grabbed my hand to follow him, quickly we ran up the stair that led to the top of the water slid, we were both breathing hard by the time we reached the top, "now no one will find us." He whispered.
I smiled and pulled him towards me again, we were laying length wise in the opening of the water slide, He rapped his arms around my waist and held me tightly as our kisses grew deeper. I rapped my arms around his neck felt his soft warm skin.
Suddenly, we heard a door open, I pulled away, "Oh my gosh Taylor, If anyone catches us…."
Quickly he pulled me farther into the water slide, we heard footsteps coming towards us and soon saw faint light from a flashlight, my yes widdened with fear, Taylor squirmmed still holding me tightly deeper into the slide, the light shone up the stair, "Hello?" A voice said, "Is anyone up there?"
We held our breath, not answering till the security left and the door shut again.
We both started laughing "That was so close!" I said, loving every minute of the anticipation.
Taylor laughed and then pulled his mouth towards me again.Every second of his soft, sexy lips on mine, amazed me, I didn’t want it to ever end. After a while we pulled apart and just lay together in the slide. Taylor kissed my forehead and glanced at his indiglo watch, "Shit, it’s almost 4:30am! The cleaning people and stuff will be out soon!" We got up and ran out of the pool hand in hand. We walked back down the hallway laughing about our little stunt we had pulled off, it was definitely the most exillerating rebellious thing we’d either ever done. We walked back down the halls a bit more till it was after 5:00am, The Hanson’s plane left at 8:30 am that morning and they were leaving at 7:30am. It wouldn’t be long till his parents would be up, we both knew the most awful thing was here, what we’d been dreading, parting.
