While I was very sad and making a page for my cousin, Josiah, I saw some beautiful flowers at Ann-Lis's house. I wrote to her and she sent me two bears along with the flowers. When you don't know what to say, flowers are the next best thing.

Another day I was at Mary's what's new? page, and I saw a link to Mary's summer greeting.
Isn't that sweet of her?

 Stitching Bear
It's been ages since I stitched anything. I must get busy and finish the one I have hanging on the wall. |
To think, I was not going to start collecting adoptions on the Net. No, I wasn't. Well... just one, maybe, two? Okay three's my limit! I added them to my bears page and then it took forever to load.
I decided to make a new page just for Mary's bears. Now I'm making a second page.
|
|
| |
Then I wrote to Robyn, "I would like to adopt Mary, the stitching bear."

 Lil Bear
|
Blessmoo had one of Mary's bears for adoption, too. Finding him was a treasure hunt! I'm glad he could come to Alaska with his milk pail, and he even brought along a couple of kittens!

I need a cow to get milk for all these kittens! It just so happens that Heather from Our Country Home has a cow and a Mary bear for adoption. I sent off my request and I impatiently waited for a reply. |

Before I knew it, I had my own Betsy and Moo. Look! She even came with papers! |
