King Alraic is the younger brother of the late King Wilhelm, and Prince Oden's uncle. He is supported in his attempt to preserve the forest realm by the temple of Haelyn's Warrior's, lead by the priestess Delma Fussen. Delma contributes two units of levy to Alaric's cause. Rumour has it that Alaric does not really wish to be King, but believes that Warkinde's hold over the Prince will lead to the destruction of the forested land in a war with Kiergard.

The Chimaeron trades with bnoth guilds of Rohrmarch, & both regents are careful not to antagonize the relatively peacful awnshegh, who has refused to take sides in the civil war... so far.	Kurt Warkinde has made an enemy of Kiergard's free peoples. The elves of the Coullabhie do not look favourably on the treatment of the forests at the hands of the humans, and may yet erupt into heated conflict.
