     I followed in my fathers footsteps first as a soldier than bodyguard. First thing all warriors should know, never underestimate your opponent. Even if she looks tall and lanky. It was this rule that Made me a Lt. to the former Mater of Unbrau. I served him loyally for 3 years, all the while noticing that the other Regents were not honoring the land but more often than not they were honoring themselves. I overstepped my bounds as a Lt. one night and displayed an act of passion for the land, some say it was the wine but it felt more from the heart. The Regent dismissed me, right then and there. I felt disgraced but at the same time relieved that I spoke up. I guess the land heard me because the Regent died that very night in his sleep. The two head Priests gathered all Lt.'s together two inform them that the country had no ruler. As they approached us all they talked together and appointed me the new ruler. I was shocked but it was shown to me that the land had chosen me and I had received a Bloodline.

• Rheulgard has never been hospitable to guilds.  The land is hilly & rocky and the forest yield only marginally-acceptable timber.

• Each of the 3 regents commands military forces which commoly band together in defense of the realm.  Each regent is are nearly equal in power, and each rules the provinces wherer they hold the majority of law holdings.  The two younger regents usually defer to the will of the older Richard Kaysun, the Old Meister of Poden if conflicts arise.

• Rumour has it that Tyrus Yurdvik of the Bannalach Spoilers guild secretly trade with the bandits of the Taravan Waste, selling them wood (for arrows & spear shafts).

• The realm is often in a state of minor strife, since no single regent holds power, yet is no where near a civil war or the sunder state that Rohrmarch is currently experiencing.  It is suspected that the 'Wizard of Forest Island" (Rheulaan Greencloak??) may be pulling strings between the three regents, and thus keeping the realm stable.

• The Stille Wachter shares intelligence reports with Berhagen, the Mater of Unbrau maintains many Khinasi ties, and Sendoure may be counted amongst those who would aid Rheulgard if needed.  Relations betweeen Poden & Treucht have always been cool, and their assisstance might be conditional.  Müuden remains isolated behind the Mountians of the Silent Watch.
