Notes & Other Information

  • Each regent can raise/move troops throughout the Realm.  However, the Captain has sole rights over the shipyards & marine colleges, while the Count  controls the cavalry & infantry schools.  All provincial taxation is the property of the respective provincial regent.  If the shared rule of Müden becomes undesirable, each regent may'choose to enforce the "official rules" over the other. ( As if they were two seperate realms.)

  • King Albrecht Graben of Grabentod is a prisoner of the court of Muden.

  • In many ways, Müden is a mirror of all things Brecht.  Most of it's lands are empty, especially the southern marches.  Large farms and a few mines make up its central provinces, and the Müdenites, always a seaward folk, respect and fear the great forests that surround their pleasant land.

  • The Capital city is Brechlen, and is the port where people arrive to trade and sail.  The other major Port is Saarmen, geographically larger  than the capital, but less populated.  Saarmen is the port of choice for departing goods and exports.  A third settlement along the coast is verging on transformation into a city, known as Halsarm, but is having problems with erosion causing it's land to fall into the sea.

  • The Royal shipyards of Brechlen turn out some of the finest vessels in Cerilia, but these are rarely sold to non-Müdenites.

Allies

Enemies

  • The count has many friends throughout Brechtür & beyond.  Baruk Azhik cannot be counted an ally, but the Overthane has agreed to hire out several dwarf guards to the Count.

  • Justina, the ruler of Pashact , is enamoured with the COunt, and respects him greatly.  She keeps a 'not-so-secret alliance with the Count.

  • The Pirates of Grabentod
  • Massenmarch
  • Rheulgard is not an enemy, but a definate degree of animosity between the realms.
