Before the fun begins, I’d like to tell you a bit about my horse life, both model and real. I am a huge collecter of Breyer Horses and currently close to 300 (possibly more) as well as about 7 Peter Stones. MANY of these models are for sale and if you are interested, please drop me a line and let me know. I also own a real horse. His name is BB's Starlight Verse but we just call him Pistol
. He is a 4 year old Paint sired by Mr. First Verse and produced out of Babes Last Mark. His daddy pulled a crucial tendon when he was young so he was only a halter horse. However Mr. First Verse has produced foal after foal of champion offspring including everything from pleasure horses to reiners! Pistol's half brother known as Flash is a World Champion reiner and producing offspring of his own! There's all kinds of little Pistol relatives running around out there! Pistol is about 15.1 and still growing! He is a sorrel overo with a bald face, one itty bitty sock, a few Paint specks here and there, and a BEAUTIFUL flaxen (blond) mane and tail. This summer I showed Pistol in both English and Western Pleasure. We were the proud winners of 30 awards in our first ever competetive show season together! We even got a chance to show at the Minnesota State Fair! That was so much fun! Pistol and I have only been to 2 shows this year, but are already doing great! We are undefeated in the 4 English classes we have entered and are the proud winners of 2 firsts, 2 seconds, 1 third, 1 forth, and 1 fifth in our Western Classes!!! It's looking like it could be a great season!
----> At last Pistol has been imortalized into a model! He was completed a few months ago and now we've finally got a photo of his portrait model. He was pained by Shari Theroux and will be a treasure always!

Pistol's Cute Thing of the Week!
Yesterday, a friend of mine who also has a horse at the barn was petting my horse Pistol. Well Pistol likes to give kisses but usually he'll just kinda wiggle his lips around a bit. My friend stuck her cheek under Pistol's nose and he licked her! CUTE!!!
