Last month
This will be my monthly section. I’ll be saying things that happens in my life and how I feel about things and people so watch out! I’ll try to be as clear and as personnel as I feel it should be yo. :P

Hiya, this is T-Bone again bring you another monthly view of things T-bone like to talk about. First off I would like to tell you that I said this is to be a monthly section. But I been busy for the last three mouths drawing, doing home work, job work, and taking care of a collage assessment test that I took some were back in 1997 (12th grade) and it is now expired. They said that all assessment tests that were taken before 1999 is no longer active and that I had to come back and take the test before they can let me register any classes. So I had to crawl my self out of bed 10:00am in the morning and go up there to retake the test on some new flat screen computer (I guest they trust computers with test taking now a days).

Well I think that's plenty of personal babble for one day. Let’s get down to what topic I started to talk about last time..... VIDEO GAMES!!! First off I would like to talk about games made into movies. I’m not going to review all the way back to wend video games start hitting the movie’s because up until last year all the game’s that were made into movie’s were badly funded, poorly made, and was just made for really young viewers, with the exception of a few like Mortal Kombat one and two that were good movies. I’ll start off with last year box office hit Tomb Raiders. Tomb Raiders had all the good stuff an action movie should have like Terminator or Rambo. Add some computer graphics, toss in a well known video game character (actor), put in allot of fighting action, toss in a some what ok story line, and add in millions of Tomb Raider fans and you got a blast! This kind of formula seem to be used for most action movie’s if you have a well-known actor. If this formula did not work than there would not be a Terminator 3 coming out.

Know over to Final fantasy the movie. I saw this movie on DVD and it was great, so you’re wondering why the movie did not do well at the box office? Well first off most of the people who would go to see the movie on the first few weeks would be the Finely Fantasy fans? But what if they saw a movie that had almost nothing to do with the game? Well they won’t go back to see the movie again and they would tell there friends (who could be FFA fan’s) why. Tomb Raiders was a simple game that was easy to make into a simple action movie that surrounded one character, like most action movies do. Anyway if you took most of the good parts off of a Indiana Jones's movie’s and made it into a Tomb Raider movie it would of still did good. FFA the movie is at most a good science fiction movie with the name of a popular video game. Many hardcore movie fan’s that never played a Finely Fantasy game may had just pass this movie up as another science fiction movie at first look.

Now lets get around to video game’s it self and how last year was the best year yet for the video game industry. X Box, Game Cube, and PS2 are all good systems, but its the games that make’s them great so that what I’ll be talking about. GC Super Smash Bros. Melee, Star Wars Rpgue Leader Rogue Squadron 2, OddWorld: Munch’s Oddysee, Dead of Alive 3, Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy, Maximo: Ghosts to Glory, SSX Tricky, Final Fantasy X, Tony Jawk’s Pro Skater 3, Gran Turismo 3, Devil May Cry, ICO, WWF Smackdown “Just Bring It”, Silent Hill 2, Metal Gear Solid 2, and of course my most favorite video game of all time, Grand Theft Auto 3!!! Those are the great games of last year. Look like this monthly section is getting to long so it’s time for me to rap things up. Until next time, from T-bone.
