Each month I'll have a new quote that I really like. I may learn it from school....I may learn it from a book or a movie....you don't know. Well when i write a quote down....I'll explain what it means to me. Hey maybe it will have meaning for you!

Quote of November-
“Some books are to be tasted, others to be swallowed, and some few to be chewed and digested.”
Francis Bacon

Okay just to make sure everyone understands, this is not about eating books. This quote is more of a slang. This line is talking about how some books are read. I believe this quote is very true. First of all to taste a book is to read the title, read the first chapter, or the summary on the back cover, just to test it out, to see if it's worth reading. To swallow a book, means to read a book, without any thought, and just reading it to finish it because you have to such as sometimes you are forced to do in school. Then books that are chewed and digested means that those kind of books are very interesting, and you want to continue reading it until it's finished. Those kind of books are read for enjoyment and they are usually very emotional. Good books to me...are usually books that make me love the book so much...that to savor the moment, I read really close to the book and most of the time I cry. My very favorite book is "Chasing Redbird." I cried in that book and that's my very favorite book.

September Quote- "We were never bored because we were never boring."
Quote of October- "Do you want to hear my philosophy? Life is short. Not original, I'll grant you, but it's true. You know what I mean? Why spend all your time being all shy and waiting on some guy if he's just to laugh at you? Sieze the moment, 'cause tomorrow you may be dead."

Oh by the way go back home
