This is a story that I'm going to tell in my dad's view. It's a true story that happened before I was born.
Hi my name's Andrew and I'm Shirley's father. I'd like to tell you a funny story that happened to me when my daughter Elaine (older sister) was just about 2 years old.
It was a cold and foggy day for me even though it was actually sunny. It was going to be a horrible day for me because I had to look after my daughter for awhile. Usually my wife, Sabrina would look after my daughter but today she was going to work.
When I dressed my daughter for her clothes I put pink pajamas with cute pictures on them. I didn't know at the time they were her pajamas. All her clothes looked the same to me.
When I arrived at the nursery school with my daughter, the teachers looked at my daughter funny. All the children were whispering and giggling and pointing at my daughter. I didn't know why!
"Is your daughter in pajamas?"asked one of the teachers.
"Of course not," I answered back. "I wouldn't be that stupid!" Of course I was wrong about that.
Later that day when I came to pick up my daughter the teachers were still looking at her funny.
"Are you sure your daughter isn't in pajamas?"asked the teacher again.
"Of course I'm sure! I'm her father!"
Then we went back home.
After a couple of hours, my wife came home from work. When she walked in to say hello to Elaine, she started laughing. She told me that Elaine was dressed in pajamas and asked me if Elaine had worn that the whole day. I said yes and she started laughing even harder. I felt embarrassed. I couldn't believe I could do a silly thing like that.
