Meet Joe Black, Meet the Real Me

"Meet Joe Black" was a funny yet emotional movie. While watching this movie today November 13,1998 (eew! Friday the 13th, but it's good because no school) I was crying. It's been a long time since I've cried in the movie. I was glad I went to the best movie place where I live...there were great seats there, but the only problem with the movie place was these old ladies kept talking really loud during the movie...and I had to say shhhhhh really loud for them to shut up. Anyway now here's a little summary.

Everything started when Bill heard someone saying yes in his sleep. He didn't know what was happening....he thought he was hearing things. The answer was yes, the voice said again. Bill didn't understand...what was the question? Well later that morning, Bill met his daughter's husband, and all 3 of them got together and started talking about Bill's upcoming 65th birthday party...then Bill heard a voice again. What is the voice talking about? How come Bill is the only one who can hear it? To find out go watch "Meet Joe Black."

My favorite part

My favorite part was when Joe (he's new at being a human, so he's sort of dumb now) tried out the peanut butter. The cook gave him a spoon full of peanut butter and Joe tried to swallow it whole, but when he tried it choked him, so he made funny noises. Then after swallowing it the right way, he said," I quite like this peanut butter." And the cook gave Joe another spoon, and Joe happily licked it clean. I thought that part was halarious. How Joe was so dumb...was halarious throughout the movie.

Okay my rating? You want to hear my rating. Well first before i tell you my rating...I'll explain why I rate it that. Well I thought this movie had a great plot, and really funny jokes, and it was really dramatic. It had powerful words, when sad moments came that made me cry...and have the sniffles. Movies like these that can make me cry...are usually great movies...with great writers of the script. Since the script was so well written I rated this movie a 95/100. The only reason i didn't rate it any higher was because the beginning of the movie...was a real bore, and when this person died when cars crashed in it, it was totally fake, but besides that...the movie was terrific!
