And the Antz go marching up to the top
One of the best kids movies I've seen for a long time. It's just like Disney's
Toy Story, with computer animations and funny jokes. I saw this movie on October 3,1998
with my lovely sister. Anyway this movie is obviously based on ants and all the
voice credits come from very famous actors and actresses. Some of those famous
voices include Woody Allen's unforgetable whiney voice, Slyvester Stallone's
deep down low voice, Sharon Stone's medium voice, and Jennifer Lopez's girlish
voice.
Well this movie is mainly about how these ants don't get to have their own choices
and have to go with what the general saids. No one gets to choose what they
want to do...and many of them die because of the general orders. Zeez the main
character (woody allen) likes to do whatever he feels like it, although people
don't agree with him. He's a worker ant which means he was born that way...so
he has no muscles like his friend (I forgot the name but it's Slyvester Stallone's voice)
but he has a heart of gold. All his troubles begin when Zeez dances with
Princess Something (Sharon stone) and they have a fun time, but then she leaves, and he misses
her so he changes places with his soldier friend. THe soldiers are going in a
fight and Zeez doesn't know what trouble's going to happen. He's too afraid
to fight the termites, and by mistake he falls in a hole in the ground...and
doesn't come out until the fight it over. When he comes out....he's sees that
all the ants are dead, but all the termites are dead also. Zeez is the only
one left. What will Zeez do next?
My favorite Part
My favorite part was when Zeez and Princess Something arrived at Insectlavania
where there was more food than any insect could imagine. Of course this so called," Insectlavaia,"
was actually a place where people had their picnics and left all their smelly
food around, but that was a miracle for them. Just that whole part was pretty
funny to me. I won't tell you what happens to them there, because I don't want
to tell you the whole movie.
Okay now for the moment you've all been waiting for;my rating. Well I thought
this movie was very good, it had a great plot, and had some funny jokes, and nice
graphics. Hmm...this will be a tough decision. Yes, everything was great except
this one part. How could all the ants defeat the termites, and how could both
teams be dead? That really confuses me there, because of that weird event, I give
it a 94/100 . So I want everyone to see that movie!! There are no boring parts, and
you'll always be entertained. boy, all the movies I've been reviewing lately
have been great movies.
