Questions

Questions

by Alyssa Farenell
(c) 1996

To be is a question.
Not to be is an answer.
Questions.
Hard to answer,
Hard to ask.
Once thought as an easy task.
The what-ifs,
The riddles.
How to play the fiddle.
What happens?
Who's that?
Is that a bad guy?
What's with the hat?
Without questions,
There wouldn't be answers.
Without questions,
There wouldn't be mysteries.
Without mysteries
We wouldn't need thought.
