The following letter appears to confirm the previous Bob file - Bob is not only alive and well, but he is also nearby. The sad news is, however, is that Bob will be returned "at some point this year" - we may have to wait up to a further 10 months for Bob to return home.

That said however, it also reinforces the suggestion that Bob may be returned during the 2001 Trek Cart event.

The letter follows:-

I was surfin the net the other week, and I just popped in to your site to check up on things and I noticed that some venture unit from Blackpool were claiming that I was with them and currently presiding over them as chairman.

RUBBISH!!! They,re liars!!!

I'm no where near Blacpool and have never been either!

My captors have agreed to return me sometime this year!

We believe that it doesn't matter if you resemble an oversized toothpick, or a good piece of firewood, but Bob should be loved for the potential tent-peg that he is.
