Four days later, the second letter from Blackpool arrived in the Unit email inbox. We were slightly concerned about the authenticity of this email, as it purports to have been written by Bob (at least in part). As we have previously mentioned, Bob's limbs were [ahem] cut off at an earlier date. So how could he have written the letter?

Anyway, the letter reads:-

Hiya to all at Winchester!

Hi its me Bob! This is only a short note before me, lisa and the rest of the unit go out to the pub, but how are you all? Long time no see! Well in reply to the pisture request, I would send you a picture but lisa's computer is so ancient it thinks a scanner is some kind of Star trek fazer! So it looks like a pic would be a little difficult! Sow what have you been up to recently? Any good venture nights we could copy?? Anyway I'm off on the pull now so hear from you soon!

Hi! Its Lisa now! Bob has just gone to tart himself up, so I'll finish off. How many people are in your unit? What sort of things do you do? After all we want to make Bob feel as at home as possible! Anyway hope to hear from you soon!

We now believe that both files 0004 and 0005 were hoaxes. We also believe that they formed part of an elaborate attempt by an Extra-Terrestrial Entity (see *) to infiltrate the 14th Winchester VSU.

Fortunately, we were too smart for them.
