| The SR-71 Blackbird is mainly a jet for spying. Also it is the only jet that can reach the edge of the Earth's atmosphere. When it first takes of it reaches about 30,000 feet and then needs to re fill it gas tank so that it can reach the edge of the atmosphere. At around 80,000 feet it can circle the globe and take pictures of what it needs to. It can also take pictures of the land when it's low but not to low so they don't get cought in an air space its not supposed to be in. The pictures it can take are of many things like land formation and other army bases on the east side of the globe. |
