This was a very hard tut to write so if you want to use more car frames please do, mine is not quite as smooth as Robert's because I took out a lot of frames to make it easier to work

My thanks to a dear friend Candie who cleaned up all the cars for me and tested the tut, making this a three man opertation...LOL

Race care template

1)Open your template in PSP...open the font....shrink the font to task bar if you are using mine....close off all layers except layer R12 add a new layer.... with your text tool ...size set at 72...line set at 1...stoke set at black and fill set at you texture choice...I used wrapped.......floating and antalias checked.. kerning set at 174..caps lock on...type your name .. .re name this layer text...move it to the bottom of the stack... add an inner bevel with these settings...

duplicate the text layer and move the copy to the very top of the stack...close it off...open all g layers...(green car) cars layer and move your name up so it clears the cars and has an open space for the cars to pass between the first and last letters... In my case I didn't have to move any letters but depending on your name you may have to lasso the first and last letters to make room for the car to pass through...

Now is a good time to crop your canvas...with all g layers open and your text layer open...click the crop tool and draw around the text and the cars...leave a little space at the last letter for the red car to go around...image...crop

1)Close off all layers ..open text layer...open g1...p1...b1...r1... Now line the cars up like so

edit>copy>merged....open animation shop...right click and paste as new image...go back to PSP

2)move the green car about 2 squares... line the other cars up just behind the green car.. edit>copy>merged...in animation shop...right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

3)move the green car about 2 more squares.....line the other cars up behind it .edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

4)Move the green car 3 squares ahead...move the purple care 2 squares...move the blue care 1 square.. move the red car about 1/2 a square.. edit>copy>merged..in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

5)Move the green car 2 more squares ahead...move the purple car 2 squares...move the blue car 2 squares...move the red car 2 squares.. edit>copy>merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

6)Move the green car 1 square ahead...move the purple care 2 squares.. move the blue care 2 squares.move the red car 2 squares...

edit>copy>merged.....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

7)Close off g1...open g2...close off p1...open p2... close off b1...open b2... now line the cars up like so

move the red car begind the blue car edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

8)Close off text..open copy of text...close off g2...open g3... close p2..open p3...close b2..open b3...close r1...open r2...again move each car to follow the green car.. edit>copy>merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

9)Close off g3..open g4..close off p3...open p4...close off b3...open b4....close off r2...open r3..line them all up to follow the green car...

edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

10)Close g4..open g5...close p4..open p5...close b4...open b5... close r3..open r4...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...like so(This you will do all the way along)....

edit>copy>merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

11)Close g5..open g6...close p5..open p6...close b5...open b6... close r4..open r5...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...(This you will do all the way along) edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

12)Close g6..open g7...close p6..open p7...close b6...open b7... close r5..open r6...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...(This you will do all the way along) edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

13)Close g7..open g8...close p7.open p8...close 7...open 8... close 6..open r7...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...(This you will do all the way along) edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

14)Close g8..open g9...close p8.open p9...close 8...open 9... close 7..open r8...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...(This you will do all the way along) edit>copy>merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

15)Close g9..open g10...close p9.open p10...close 9...open 10... close 8..open r9...now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... move the red car on top of the blue car...(This you will do all the way along) edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

16)Close g10..open g11...close p10.open p11...close 10...open 11... close 9..open r10..now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... ..kinda bunch them up like so

edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

17)Close g11..open g12...close p11.open p12...close b11...open b12... ..now move the purple car just on top of the green car....move the blue car just a little on top of the purple car... ..kinda bunch them up like so

Now move the red car over under the last letter.. edit>copy>merged...in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

18)Move the green car forward just a bit ..... move the purple car a bit and move the blue car a bit...again make them bunched up with the green in the lead...close off r10... open r11 and move it to the other side of the letter.. ...edit>copy>merged..in animation shop.....right click on last frame and paste after current frame...go back to PSP

19)Move the green car forward just a bit... move the purple car a bit and move the blue car a bit... lining them up the same as in frame #1...close off r11...open r12... move the red car over under the last letter... ..edit>copy>merged....in animation shop....right click on last frame and paste after current frame

In AS...click on edit...select all...animations...frame properties set at 15

All done and your cars should run smoothly

In AS, just save as, I didn't change the frame animations but you can play with that if you choose
