AFI-Sing the Sorrow Album Review

So many factors come in when you talk about AFI. first of all I am judging this album based only on the recognition of THIS ALBUM. Just because AFI used to be different, does not mean that I am going to judge this album based on those albums. It is a judgement on this album AS AN ALBUM. That being said, Sing the Sorrow is a very metaphorical, poetic, semi-complex album in 12 tracks, with a bonus poem and song on the end. I have never heard such chilling lyrics in such a poem, and I have never heard such a complete sound out of a four-man band. If you appretiate good poetry, this is a cd for you. Diversity is outstanding, and the guitar licks make me practically pass out cold of shear amazement. If you're looking for a hardcore punk album, this is not for you. however, this album is full in every note you hear, you won't feel like somethings missing. I believe they did the best job they possibly could have done on it. I give the album a 10.0. ~armand
