Gallery - 2005 Roadtrip
back
I decided to take the long way home from Calgary to Nova Scotia. My good friend and travel companion, Joe MacDonnell and I packed the 1988 F250 Truck Camper with all my belongings and left Cowtown and ventured to Kelowna, down the 101 to Sanfran, Yosemite, Vegas, the Grand Canyon, through Colorado, Duncan (OK), Austin!! I then continued to visit Memphis, Nashville, stayed a couple days near Gettysburg because of truck problems, Toronto, Ottawa and short stop in Montreal and then I made it home to Nova Scotia to be only to be welcomed home with rain and a speeding ticket!
The road trip of 2005 began in Calgary with a couple of drinks and singing with the boys... we left cowtown only 3 hours behind schedule!

We took a wrong turn and missed out on the more famous part of Yosemite. I think this is good because it means I have to come back to see the rest of the wonders of this great park!

Austin, Texas was the main USofA destination. Texas is a go hard or go home State filled with friendly folk and I think the most attractive women in the US. We ran into a couple of Newfs which is always fun and once again Austin did not fail in my hopes of have a good fun time!

Pics of Alexander Keith's birthday in Toronto, a stop in Ottawa, Montreal and then all the way back to Nova Scotia where it rained my whole time home! It was good to be back home and see the boys... even the welcome home speeding ticket didn't dampen my spirits!
