A Summer to Remember

Well, the summer movie season is over. I have seen a lot of movies, and have avoided nearly as many. In terms of blockbusters, it was a fantastic summer. The sequels were out in full force, and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves. Here's my list of thumbs up and thumbs down movies.
I have to say it, my favorite movie of the summer was X2. Yes, it was the first major blockbuster of the summer, at least in my mind, but it was the best in my opinion. It had the most emotional impact and the best action of the summer, I thought. Right up there was Terminator 3, S.W.A.T., Pirates of the Caribbean, American Wedding, and Hulk. The big surprises to me were the underdogs like Tomb Raider, which I liked a little, and Johnny English. These movies, and Pirates a little, were supposed to be awful, but I really enjoyed them.
The bad ones this summer were as bad as it got. Bad Boys was absolute crap. Just awful. And it was incredibly dissapointing too. Plus, Jeepers Creepers 2 was awful. I know I gave Freddy VS Jason a bad rating, but I really enjoyed that one. I thought this summer was great in terms of movies. Everything was kept pretty safe, and a lot of money was made. Here's hopin the fall season is just as impressive.
Now, here's a quick overview of the summer blockbusters.
