Dr. Hadia Harb
Dean of the School of Arts
and Sciences, Beirut
Dr. Harb had her BA in English Literature from LAU (previously Beirut University
College) and her MA and Ph.D. from the Ohio State University in Education.
Dr. Harb joined LAU in 1970 as instructor of English.
She was then promoted to Associate Professor and Chairman of the Education
Department in 1987. In October 1996, she was appointed Dean of the School
of Arts and Sciences.
Dr. Harb is a member of a number of international
associations. She has three books on Arabic literacy and several articles
and publications in education.
