Disclaimer:
 Keep in mind that I do have a real life, I scripted this because I wanted to, and I'm not getting payed for it. As for, I won't be held responsible for anything done with it, or if anything happens for using it. If you don't know what a feature does, try it at your own risk, or just leave it alone. Of course, most of the time that won't be a problem, unless we're talking about the TCP/IP utils...

[personal]
 -=- Personal -=-

 The $sc also includes personal protections:

 -open query flood
 -private notice/text/action flood
 -CTCP/DCC flood
 -text/action/invite flood

 -back orifice/UDP detector
 -netbus detector
 -netbios detector

 -anti script.ini
 -anti sockets connection/detector
 -anti DOS attack
 -anti nuker attack
 -connections detector
 -virus scan

 The response to these attacks is an ignore. It should be able to protect you agains botnet attacks also, as well as you choose your settings wisely.

 There is also a Spam protection. That cannot be considered an attack, but it can get really annoying with time, in big channels...you can setup the masks you want blocked.

 It should be enough to protect most users from IRC attacks, but it can't protect you against "nukes" or other DoS attacks. For last, there is an option for kicking the flooder from all channels where you're an op.

 Besides, you have also these protections/options:

 -Nethack protection (or serverop protection);
 -Slap protection
 -Include/exclude ops and voiced (includes ops and voiced in channel protections);
 -Kick-on-ban (the script auto-kicks any banned user);
 -Kickcounter;

[channel]
 -=- Protection -=-

 the $sc includes many channel protections features... all configurable from
the protection dialog. (F3)

 -text repeat;
 -text flood;
 -excess chars/letters;
 -excess CAPS;
 -excess colors;
 -excess codes;

 -guest nick;
 -bad nick;
 -bad host/idents;
 -bad channel;

 -quit/part ads;
 -mass kick;
 -mass ban;
 -mass de@p;

 -forbidden/bad words;
 -chan/site ads on main channel;
 -onJoins spam;
 -revolving door;
 -idle nick;
 -clone limit;

 These protections can be set as global (clear channel list), or specific for each channel. After one offense is detected, the 1st penalty occurs, and a timer is started. Until that timer reaches the end, if the nick does the offense again, the 2nd,3rd,... penalties will be used.

[addons]
 -=- Addons -=-

 A good way to complete the script with more features that you might need is to get addons. Addons are small scripts, usualy with a single feature, for users to include in their mIRC's or scripts.
 The $sc should be compatible with most addons out there, since it doesn't mess with their variables. The only problem could be when using recursive aliases already included in the script, mostly /who, /names, etc...or even with some raws, as 315 and 352.

[fkeys]
 -=- Function Keys -=-

 It may look confuse, but you'll quickly find out that most of the fkeys are requested by the script when a situation occurs, so you don't really have to keep track of them all.
