Our History Friends of Earth was established in 1998 when then advisor Dr. McIver decided it was time to bring such a club. Little Known Fact If everyone replaced an ordinary light bulb with a compact fluorescent light bulb, we would diminish as much global warming pollution as taking 7.5 million cars off the road!
