Asbury Committee meetings are as follows: Board of Trustees 1st Monday; United Methodist Women 1st Tuesday 6 pm; Finance Committee 2nd Monday 5:30 pm; Worship Committee 1st Sunday following worship service; Ad Council 3rd Sunday following worship service.
WHAT'S UP?
Birthdays this week: 10th Paul Holland, 12th Nancy Dunst.
Our "Martin Luther King, Jr. Service" on the 19th of Jan. was awe inspiring. Rabbi Ureki and Gov. Bob Wise were among the many speakers. It was great to see the church filled-to-capacity.
Our "Celebrate Diversity" Dinner Theater on Feb. 7th was also a great success! Again, we were filled-to-capacity. What love and warmth we've seen lately. We are truly BLESSED! We will keep you posted on the many more exciting events taking place at Asbury in the coming months. Don't forget the Mardi Gras Dinner on Feb. 24th!
