Robert Archibald was Illinois' primary low-post scorer and led the Big Ten in field goal percentage (.659 percent). The native of Paisley, Scotland averaged 10.6 ppg on the season and was Illinois_ fourth-leading scorer in Big Ten play at 10.9 ppg. He was second on the team in rebounding at 5.5 rpg, which ranked 14th in the Big Ten. As a senior, Archibald scored in double figures 18 times and led Illinois in scoring five times.He led Illinois in rebounding 12 times. Averaged 13.5 points during the Big Ten Tournament and scored 11 points on 4-of-5 shooting in NCAA Tournament second-round victory over Creighton.Also led Illinois with double-double of 15 points and 10 rebounds in Sweet 16 loss to Kansas.
