This site also mentions that there are a lot of nature and cultural interests that can be found in Finnøy. There are also descriptions of what Sauda, Suldal and Hjemland have to offer.

2.) This website goes through Vestlandet in a tour format. The tour starts with the pulpit, and then moves onto Bergen. Then it heads to information about more fjords. The last stop is Trondheim, the oldest city in Norway, which celebrated its 1000-year anniversary in 1997.

3.) This site contains links about fjords and glaciers. The link about fjords talks about different fjords and the climates there. The link about glaciers talks about the landscapes, geology, and climate of the glaciers. This site also contains current happenings in the area.

4.) This site focuses on the area of Rogaland. It mentions the population of Rogaland and the different districts in Rogaland. It goes on to talk about the history of Rogaland and then gives short descriptions of the districts.

5.) This site contains links to cities in Vestlandet with little descriptions of each. It also talks about the inlets, mountain passes, and valleys. It then talks about how people had to conform to nature there. This site also mentions other geographical attraction, historical attractions and festivals.

6.) This site is in norw. and in english. They have set up cameras all over vestlandet and have pictures from all the cities. it also contains usefull information that i can use in my report.

7.) This site is in Norw. and contains countless bits of information. The site is mostly tesx, with little pictures. It is impossible to discribe everything that this site contains on it.

8.) This is a Norw. site for vestlandet that specializes in Western Norw. artist. I think this would be a very interesting subject to research in relation to the fjords.

9.) This site is not the best web page for vestlandet, but it does have some good information about the geography and the flag of vestlandet that my be useful. The site is in English.

10.) This site is helpful because it gives a very basic outline of Norwegian history. It goes as far back as 1200 BC, when the first human settlers came to Norway to 1994. It is a time line and gives general historical knowledge about Norway.

11.) This page was given before on the reading strategies however it seems like it gives really good historical information. It shows the traditional dress and jewelry of specific portions of Norway. It also gives the history behind these traditions. However, I am going to do 6 sites because this one was given before.

12.) This website is interesting because it tells about the history of the Norwegian language. It talks about the changes done to the National language and the causes for those changes. It seems interesting because it is a less thought about part of history.

13.) This site is mostly in Norwegian with some English. It seems to offer an opportunity to read about historical facts on Norway. Also, it offers lots of pictures which seem to help convey the information.

14.) This is a Norwegian site about Vikings. This is the most commonly known historical aspect of Norway so it seems worthwhile to mention them. This site is helpful because it really focuses on the Vikings instead of giving a broad overview of them.

15.) This site is in Norwegian and can be used to look at the Cultural Heritage’s archive. It tells how heritage in Norway is preserved. It also has lots of pictures and gives options on what to look at regarding Norwegian Heritage.

Der er nformasjon og fotografier om attraksjoner slik som domkirke og Preikestolen (en fjord).

Our Interview with a Vestlandet Native

Vi intervjuet liv. Hun kommer fra Havgesund. Hun bor i Kildahl. Hun studerer antropologi og sosiologi. Hun liker å lese Bjørg Vik. Hun har ikke mye tiden å vokte tv. Nå, jobber hun på Norskinstitutet. I Norge, jobber hun i feriene mine. Også, snakker hun tysk. Hun liker å spise spaghetti og drikke saft. Det er 30,000 folk i hennes by. Det er 4 kjøpesenteret der. Hennes favorit butikk er Benetton. Du kan se haven fra vindu. Matten er mild otten krydder der. Det er veldig mye sludd I Havgesund. Om sommeren kan det være veldig fint, man der kan være veldig mye regn. Vinteren dager er veldig mørke.
