My Expectations for SAOPS, AOPS and Voices:

It is tuff to become a Saop within the Shadow Mist Tavern. You must be dedicated Truly to the tavern, you MUST be familiar with the Rules and the tavern to provide the best of knowledge to others.

It is tuff to become a Saop within the Shadow Mist Tavern. You must be dedicated Truly to the tavern, you MUST be familiar with the Rules and the tavern to provide the best of knowledge to others.

The reason I have so Few Saops is because trust plays a large part within this role. One of the MAIN reasons I have a Saop is because if the Tavern Owner (Myself) is gone for a long period of time, or cannot make it a computer for a long period of time, lets say there is School. That’s a Big factor in the Absence of so many. So, the Saop needs to be, or at least try to be online often. The Saop will keep things flowing at a Normal Pace if the Tavern Owner is not present for a long period of time. Such things that would be flowing would be:

Voices Becoming an Aop
Problems That occur, can be delt with and handled in such a way that the Tavern Owner would handle it.

So a Saop must be pretty familiar with the way Shenna`Dee (tavern owner) Thinks, reacts to problems, etc…This position cannot be filled by just anyone, it takes hard consideration and tuff training as well, to learn everything there is to know. Shenna`Dee will personally train the Saop to be. IF he/she qualifies then they will become the Saop. A festival will most likely take place, as I always do when someone becomes an Aop within the tavern.

Each and every SAOP, AOP and VOICE should do there very best to help out others in need of help, such as serving a bottle of ale, or assigning a room to a patron in need of rest, or showing them the way to the stables to rest there tired steed. I couldn’t stress more strongly that we wish to make every patron feel at home, because this is what I feel I’ve created for many. I also wish for each AOP and Voice to take things responsibly and react to something responsibly, because I can trust everyone with there feelings, and thoughts. Also, I hope that each AOP will help the Voices in there quest in becoming apart of the family, to help, teach, learn, and show each other your duties, and to make it Possible so they can feel better about becoming apart of the family.

(@) SAOP’s Expectations:

Saops are the most trusted and highly responsible patrons within the tavern, they help with the dealing of tough decisions one cannot make on their own. My main expectation is that they help each AOP and Voice feel at home, help them with problems if any, tend to things that need tending to, suggest things that need suggesting. They are people you can turn to for help and to talk to if one needs an ear. Everyone is here to listen and help anyway possible. (this also applies to Aops and Voices) Also, SAOPS are responsible for keeping peace within the tavern, fights outside the tavern are none of our concern nor business (*winks*). But within the tavern is a different story. Things become broken, messes need to be cleaned, and it becomes a very big eye soar. If you are involved in a fight within the tavern, and manage to mess up things within it, YOU’LL be the one cleaning it up. Saops also have a hard task as well, sometimes their jobs aren’t easy. Sometimes I make them decide on not so easy things, I give them tasks that aren’t always there cup of tea, So if you Wish to apply to become a SAOP You MUST realize that being a SAOP places more responsibility in your hands and you must know how to deal with it and handle it. Saops also has control of keeping order between each AOP and Voice((They monitor the Voices progress)) . Saops also report to me, any miss-behavior between an AOP, Voice or a normal guest/visitor.

(@) AOP Expectations:

Aops are just as important as a Saop. Without Aops there wouldn’t be any true order within the Tavern. Aops are in charge of kicking/banning if necessary, they help with holding order and in force rules that may be broken or just toyed with, in the tavern. They carry great responsibility as well as any other @ within the tavern, they decide whether or not someone is going to far with something, they will judge accordingly depending on the situation. THEY in force the rules, and remind others of them. Aops should try to keep a cool head about arguments, situations and any problems. If a Problem does occure then take it to the OOC channel (#TDH_OOC) and discuss the issue with each patron or person present and able to speak for themselves. REMEMBER: NEVER go by what ONE person says!! Get opinions, watch the person, and THEN you decide! . If something is NOT resolved then warn them/Threaten them with a kick or if necessary a Ban. Basically Aops are there to keep order. To stand out from everyone else within the tavern, showing that they are there to help, and or talk with if something is not right within the tavern, or with another patron. Aops I wish for you to get to know each and every other Saop, Aop and Voice. Because bonds and friendship with others helps the tavern run smoothly and happily and helps everyone come together as a family and without them, there would be nothing. (Note: You MUST be signed up for the NEWSLETTER! It’s VERY important you are, it keeps you updated on new things, such as NEW voices! And Rules and things, and any changes with the website..)

(+) Voice Expectations:

Voices, the newest, learning, and exploring patrons held within the Tavern. Voices are the ones who receive a + within the tavern. They are in the process of becoming an AOP (@). They learn from their peers, and learn the ways of the tavern and the rules. Voices should get to know the rules very well, so that when the time comes you CAN re-in force them. Voices are there manly to show there loyalty in the Tavern, to show that they wish to become apart of the Shadow Mist Tavern. Voices, I wish for you to watch, and learn from the other Aops within the tavern, ask questions, get to know everyone. Look about the Shadow Mist Tavern website and get to know the layout of the area. Note: Any new changes in the rules (Which might I add, I do add new rules every once in a while! But I tell everyone within the Shadow Mist Tavern in the News Letter). I wish for every Voice to SIGN up for the newsletter! Its important because it keeps you updated on new rules, new pages, new voices, and just to keep you updated. You DO NOT have to be joining to be an AOP to get a Voice. There are A LOT of other reasons to receive a Voice within the tavern. Here are some RULES that need to be filled if interested:JOBS

I feel that each and every @ should follow the rules, as well ad be polite to others. If your character is not one to be around company nor liking the company of others and gets into conflicts a lot, then I strongly suggest that you clone that Character and not give him/her an @.

I want all @’s to be as functional as possible. We are all friends and family here and I only want to see the best for everyone, and I want to see happiness, love, kindness, etc.. I want this to be a place someone will say “wow! I cannot believe this place! its wonderful!” I know, I have faith in each and every person I give an @ (Saop & Aop)and +(voice) too. I know you all well, and if not to well, then let be in the future we do get to know another, but each + (voice)I wish to know more about you, get a feel, and Role Play with, so I can better yet understand your way of thinking (In character as well as real life), role playing, and how you would present to be a member of The Shadow Mist Tavern.

DON’T WORRIE! I believe that no one has anything to worry about when filling out the Application To become an Aop, Or Voice because I have strong feelings about everyone, and give everyone an equal chance! So, I don’t believe there is anything to fear, I wont bite.^_^

IF you wish to become apart of the family just go to: APPLY And follow the instructions! And I hope to hear from you ASAP, and get to know you all! *hugs * With honor, Written by: shennadee Shenna`Dee
