I guess since you found your way to me, I should tell you a bit about myself. I've lived in and around Calgary, Alberta since 1975 (give or take a year) and I figure I'll be here for quite awhile yet unless a strong breeze comes and blows me places unknown. I love animals and the Inner Sanctum always contains a collection of pets. At the moment there are 16 crazy parrots and a cat keeping things interesting.
Each sunrise up here brings another opportunity for adventure (or just heading off to the job again), but the great thing is that you never know what will come your way. I like to try new things that may not change my life, but give me some fun and a few laughs along the way. Things haven't always been easy and there have been some potholes along the road of life, but the journey continues. I believe there is a special person for everyone, someone who can laugh at the little girl who pops out every once in a while and someone who can keep me grounded when life starts to get crazy. It isn't easy finding that special person in a world full of strangers, but luckily I have found him, and together we are riding the "crazy roller coaster of life". Keeping an open mind has taught and helped me discover things I didn't know were out there. I'm never sure what my next whim will be. Some things never change though. I love amusement parks, watching thunder storms, challenging my brain, going to movies and making plans to visit all the places I always wanted to see but haven't got to yet. The only thing for sure is that you have to live life and not sit around just watching it go by. You may get burned or shot down in flames, but at least you know that you tried.
We all need to be heard, and this is a small corner of the world where I can share part of myself through my poetry.
Things keep changing, so drop in every once in a while and see if there are any new developments in the "INNER SANCTUM".
