Artist’s Statement

Along with the challenge of portraying light, movement and depth on a flat canvas, I enjoy discovering the inner light of my subject. Though we see a cute cat, he sees himself as a little tiger. I want to capture the tiger.

Click Here for a Cute Cartoon	A native Albertan, I have been actively drawing and painting since 1985. Since 1993, under the tutelage of Gene Prokop I have been producing portraits and still lifes in a modern impressionist style.
