Thanks to the following Institutions for their help in searching for the 850BR 1902 Passenger List
Comments:
1. After Guyana
gained its independance from Great
Britain in 1966, all
indentured immigrants became naturalized Guyanese
2. All indentured records from the plantations and the District Commissioner
Offices were sent to the Archives in Georgetown. Guyana
3. The indentured immigrants who became naturalized Guyanese voted for the PNC, as they were told on voting day, that they had already voted - postal voting.
The naturalization process was done by Lawyers associated with two Hindu Organzations in Guyana that towed the line with the PNC-Burnham's party.
The
Passenger List for 850BR 1902, can help me with the following:
1.Trace, if they came with their parents
2.List the names of all the sisters that
came
3.Locate where in India they came from
According to my father, 5 sisters came with their mother from India.
They were living at Rampur, plantation Blairmont Estate.
850BR 1902 and she expired October 15, 1929 are clues to find additional informations.
