Hi, I am glad you stopped by. I am Marylu, of Marylu's Beach home, and am back in Charlotte, where I live with my husband Alan and our schnauzer, Max.

Alan fights his way through traffic everyday, and there is plenty of it,

to his seafood buying job and right now I am a domestic engineer!

Charlotte is a busy, growing city but also very beautiful being located in the piedmont of North Carolina.

It is neat because it is close to the mountains

and not too far from the beach.

A sports nut I am not, but if you love sports,

it's a good place to be.

As I told you, Charlotte is growing by leaps and bounds. This is a good example of what you may see.

All the new construction leads to new homes and plenty of

shopping. Shop till you drop!

Of course, there are museums and the arts and many libraries to improve your mind.

There are so many restaurants to visit, it is hard to decide!

Charlotte has one busy busy airport.

You can take one of those to get away or

this would be fun too!

So, we will live in Charlotte until we retire, or until

whichever comes first.

Meanwhile, take a look at our downtown, it is something to see.
