Howie's Thank You's

BLACK & BLUE

Oh my God -- we're back again! Wow!! Well, here we are (thank God) once again giving thanks to the many people out there who helped us make this album possible. I'd like to start off by saying I hope I didn't miss anybody on the last album or this one, but if I did or do, you know who you are and I'm deeply sorry. Here goes nothing!

I don't know where or even how to start thanking my family for their many years of love and support. To my B. Boy crew, you guys have always been there for me through thick and thin, keeping me the same "Sweet D." you've always known. I'm so glad to have spent some of the greatest years of our lives together making music for people everywhere.

To our management team, The Firm: Michael, Jeff, Gayle, Peter, Skip, Al, Papale, Fernando, Aaron and the entire staff, thanks for taking our careers to the next level.

To our record label, Jive/Zomba: Clive, Barry, Tom, Steve, Janet, Jackie, Gerry, Lynda, JoAnn, Michael, Neil, Denise, Joe, Tom, Trish, J.R., Hurricane, Phil, Kelley, Daddio, Rose, Doug, Jessie, Nathalie, Mozy, John, Bob, Bill, Julia, Linda, Jenny, Mark, Richard, Eric, Andrea, Anna and all the Jive worldwide staff -- great job again!

Congrats to Kevin, Brian, Nick, AJ, Andrew, Calum, Steve, Andreas, Franciz & LePont for the songs we got on the album. To Evolution, our booking agency: David, Eric, Craig and the entire staff, thank you for all the great tours. Let's do it again this year.

To our extended family on the road: The BSB Band, Dancers, Fatima, Doc, Scott, T.L., Tim, Leila, Pert and the crew. Thanks for keeping us looking and sounding good on stage. To digger #2 (Nelson) and the rest of the security, thanks for always watching our backs. To Mitch, Marcee and the entire staff of MSO, thanks for the great publicity. To our personal photographer, Andre: thanks for all your great shots and servicing them to all the magazines. To our personal stylist/makeup artist: Rachel, Signe and Scott, thanks for keeping us always looking good.

To all radio and club DJs, TV media and the press: once again, thanks for all your support. To Oppenheim, Branca and Mitch, thanks for helping us take care of business while we're doing the shows. Back on the home front, thanks to Rick, Mark and Dale for keeping an eye on my personal business.

At the end of the day, none of this would be possible without our fans supporting us and our music. Thank you for always keeping the Backstreet Pride alive.

MILLENNIUM

Millennium: 1. A period of 1000 years. 2. (Theol.) the period of a thousand years during which Christ will reign on earth. 3. Any period of great happiness, peace, etc....

Taking all this into consideration, when I think of our album titled Millennium the word takes on a new meaning which I define as: the coming of the new Backstreet Boys album to the world. To be heard for another thousand years to come, God willing, since it is He who gave us our talents to spread peace and happiness to everyone through our harmonies in our music

This is why I begin my thank yous once again my thanking our Heavenly Father for all the wonderful gifts He has bestowed upon me. Thanks to my immediate family: Mom & Dad: I will always be grateful for your constant love, guidance, support... and for encouraging me to be all that I am and to never fall short of my dreams. To my sister Angie: you've always been there for me as the "Older Sister" guiding me with your knowledge and skills, but remember, to me you'll always be my "Little Sister." To my sister Caroline, who passed away September 12, 1998 from complications from the disease called Lupus: I'll always be grateful to have spent the last date of our American Tour with you in your hometown. I know that you are now in a better place, watching over all of us as our Guardian Angel. I love and miss you dearly and dedicate this album in memory of you. To my sister Polyana: I will always be grateful to you for helping me to get started in my entertainment career. I believe in you so much, and now it's your turn to make your dream a reality! To my brother John: you've always been there for me as my "Big Brother." Thank you for the countless talks and advice on everything from business adventures to girls. To my in-laws and outlaws: Tom, Jerry and Pat. My nieces and nephew: Chelsea, Danielle, Elizabeth, Kassidy, Samantha and J.D. and to the rest of my family and friends: thanks for all your support and unconditional love. To my extended family: Kevin, A.J., Brian and Nick --- we've been through a lot, especially within these last few years which has made us stronger and tighter as a group. I'm looking forward to many more years together of making great music in the new Millennium! To the new management team "The Firm:" thanks for coming aboard. I know you have your hands full but I'm sure there are not abstacles we can't handle together. To Lou, the entire Transcon family and Gloria: I'll always be grateful to you for helping us get our start. To the BSB family: Dnise, Nicole, Mike, David, Andre, Dave, Angie, Fatima, Doc, our great band, crew and security: thanks for taking care of all our special needs and for trying to keep things stressless and organized. Thanks to Ralph, Howard and "T" for all your legal advice. Once again, I'd like to start off by thanking God for gicing us the chance to make another album for all of you out there in the international world. He had blessed us with a successful first album and hopefully we can top it with this one. At this time I'd like to thank the many people who have helped us or played a part in our success. First and foremost, I would like to thank my family, Mom, Dad, Angie, Caroline, Polly, and Johnny. You guys have always been there for me through thick and thin, supporting my dreams, I owe everything to you all. To my grandma, Corene Wright, who recently passed away, I dedicate this album to you. Kevin, Brian, A.J. and Nick, "Here We Go Again". They say the second time around is always better. I don't know if it can get any better thank this. To the sixth Backstreet Boy, Lou Pearlman, A.K.A. Big Papa, you have been around since day one of all this craziness and we owe our dreams coming true to your. We are the family you have never had, always rememver "Who Loves You?". First and foremost, I'd like to start by thanking God, our Heavenly Father, for the gift of life & the talent he's given us to touch your hearts with our music. Personally, I would like to thank my Mom & Dad (Paula & Hoke Dorough) for the many years of their support & inspiration when it came to following my dreams. To my Big Brother & Sisters (John, Polly, Caroline & Angie) -- thanks for always being there for me with your constant love, understanding & advice.
