Chapter 6: Dark Miracles ~ Geoffrey Mcfadden
Kari stood there stareing up at the vampire digimon who wanted revenge for getting defeated so many times his plan was to distroy each of the digidestened one by one. Ray ran up to Kari who handed Ray the sword she had borrowed then she noticed Whelpmon "He's my partner" Ray explaned to her Kari nodded as they both got ready to fight Myotismon. Ray just smiled "So the fruity vamp returnith eh'?" Ray said with a snicker "HOW DARE YOU CALL ME THAT?" Myotismon shouted angerly as he charged at the two but then "NIGHTMARE CLAW!!" another digimon shouted as Myotismon was attacked by "Devimon?" Kari asked confused "Yes i'm a digidestened digimon i'm here to help you" He explaned "So if your here then that means that..." Ray started "I'm not to far away" Richard said as he jumped off Devimons back. "So thats the enemy?" Richard asked "Yup" Ray said "Looks fruity" Richard observed as Myotismon got more and more angry with them "HERES A LITTLE SOMETHING FOR YOU!!!!!!!GRIZZLY WING!!!" Myotismon shouted but everyone doged the attack "Lets give this digiegg a try" Ray suggested as he looked at Whelpmon who nodded in agreement "DIGI-ARMOR ENERGIZE!!!" Ray shouted "WHELPMON ARMOR DIGIVOLVE TO..........SERPENTMON!!!!" Everyone looked in amazement at Whelpmon's transformation Serpentmon was a large serpent-like dragon with a long slender body long legs and arms with claws on the ends for fingers and toes he also had dragon-fly type wings and three horns on his head two going from the sides pointing away from the face and one serated horn going up from the middle of the head and wasn't too happy with Myotismon "You don't know the true power of darkness it should be used to protect not distroy now I must distroy you" Serpentmon told Myotismon just then "HAND OF FAITH" Myotismon was attacked by a ray of light from angemon then T.K. walked up to the group "PUPPET PUMMEL!" Puppetmon shouted as he attacked Myotismon as well then Serpentmon flew up into the air over Myotismon "DRAGONS BREATH!!!" he shouted as he formed a small ball of fire and shot out a large beam of light and fire. "WE GOT HIM!!" Mariline shouted with joy "NO WE DIDN'T" Ray shouted back as Myotismon flew out of the smoke "OK GOTOMON AND ANGEMON I THINK YOU TWO SHOULD DIGIVOLVE!!" Ray suggested "NO AGUEMENT HERE" Gotomon said "RIGHT" Angemon agreed "GOTOMON DIGIVOLVE TO.....ANGEWOMON!!" "ANGEMON DIGIVOLVE TO......MAGNAANGEMON!!" both angle digimon floated in the air as Myotismon made his move for one of the digidestened "OH NO KARI!!!" both T.K. and Ray shouted "HA HA HA HA NOW I HAVE THE CHILD OF LIGHT NOW TO SACRAFICE HER TO OUR GOD AND THE WORLD WILL BE OURS!" Myotismon then made his escape by forming a protal to the world of darkness the dark ocean known by the season two team. "YOU WONT GET AWAY WITH THIS!!!" Ray shouted as he T.K. and Magnaangemon and Angewomon followed Myotismon into the gate as it closed behind them "Oh great how am I gona explane this one to Tai?" Richard wondered then Serpentmon reverted to Whelpmon as he looked into the sky where the portal used to be then they all noticed something Richard picked up the objects "Great he droped his digivice and d-terminal" he sighed as he motioned to the rest it was time to go home "Papa" Mariline said as she followed Richard to head home "They're gona kill me for this" Richard thought to himself as he got to the t.v. to open the portal home he let out a sigh as he proceded to open the portal "digiport open" he said as if regretting saying those words as they all went home. Meanwhile in the dark world Ray and the team were wondering where to look for Kari. "Where do we go?" T.K. asked Ray who turned around he thought about it for a minute then he felt a strange feeling in his head he fell to his knees as he held his head as if he was in pain "Hey are you ok?" Angewomon asked him with concern as T.K. came up to offer help "I feel it she is here and very close" Ray said as he got back up to his feet he lloked around for a bit then "THERE" Ray shouted as he pointed to a castle up on a hill "Then thats where we're going" Magnaangemon said as everyone nodded and headed for the castle. "WHAT HAPPENED TO THEM?" Tai shouted as if he didn't hear Richards story, "I told you they went after some fruity vampire who kidnaped Kari" Richard explaned for the second time "Are they going to be ok?" Sora asked with concern "I wouldn't worry too much Ray is with them" John told them "But Papa droped his digivice and d-terminal" Mariline said as she showed them to the others. "Still he'll be alright he is the best we've got" John said with unwaverly confidance. "Look its getting late don't worry Tai we can trust these people if they say Ray can handle it then he can" Matt told his friend "I guess but I feel so useless right now" Tai said as he left the room Sora followed Matt looked over at Mimi who was already asleep then he and the other boys left for bed "That went..........well" Richard said to John who just nodded his head. Ray and T.K. were heading for the dark castle Magnaangemon was flying with T.K. on his back while Angewomon was holding Ray up she saw a look on Rays face that she recinized "Boy he sure is determined almost like Kari when we faced Apoclimon" she thought to herself . The group got to the main gate which wasn't guarded by anyone. "Could be a trap" T.K. observed Ray nodded "Lets go and save Kari" Ray told them there was no aguement as they all entered the castle. It was dark almost no light even the fire gave off dark light then the team came to a large door which they heard Myotismon's laughter comeing from the room Ray looked in through a crack in the door he saw Myotismon with a knife and Kari was tied down to a table. Ray had saw enough as he busted the door down "MYOTISMON YOU RELEASE KARI RIGHT NOW!!!" Ray shouted as the angles flew in beside him T.K. stayed out of sight as the fight started Ray charged at Myotismon he tackled him so hard that both went through the wall and into the next room where all T.K. and Kari could hear was the fighting then T.K. saw his chance he grabbed the knife Myotismon dropped and used it to free Kari she sat up and gave T.K. a loveing hug "Oh T.K. I thought.......I thought i'd never see you again" she cried as T.K. returned the hug as Ray and Myotismon fought each other then out of nowhere both flew out of the other room and faced each other on opposite sides of the room both were badly beaten and were breathing heavily then Ray motioned over to T.K to come T.K. did go over to Ray he wispered something into T.K.'s ear and gave him his sword them Ray once again charged at Myotismon but he was too tired and Myotismon got the upper hand of the fight punching Ray in the head and tossing him into the far wall both the angel digimon did their best to help but their attacks had no effect on Myotismon. Then he turned his attention to Kari T.K. tried to help but Myotismon just tossed him aside "Now little girl I will kill you" he said but then Ray made his move he came up behind Myotismon and held him in place and shouted "MOON GATE" all of a sudden the floor had a picture of the moon on it as Ray and Myotismon stood in place as pure light surrounded and filled the room both Magnaangemon and Angewomon felt thier strength returning to them. "NOW ATTACK US BOTH!!!" Ray shouted while everyone looked at him as if they haven't heard him "WHA!!?" both the angel digimon asked "IT'S THE ONLY WAY I'M SORRY BUT WE HAVE NO CHOICE" Ray shouted once again "T.K. what should we do?" Kari asked franticly she couldn't beleave it some stranger was going to sacrafice his life just so that she could live she looked at Ray then at T.K. then at her friend Angewomon all of them looked at each other than at Ray "lets do what he askes" T.K. said softly then something came over him "IT'S THE ONLY WAY!" Kari shouted agreeing with him "Ok if your all sure" Angewomon said as she got ready to attack "This is going to be big" Magnaangemon said as he also prepared to attack both then attacked at once "CELESTIAL ARROW!" Angewomon shouted "MAGNA BLADE!!!" Magnaangemon shouted as well both the attacks flew at both Myotismon and Ray "READY TO BE DEFEATED VAMPIRE?" Ray shouted "YOU FOOL YOU'LL DIE AS WELL" Myotismon laughed "TRUE BUT IF IT WILL GET RID OF YOU THEN I'LL HAPPILY DIE FOR IT" Ray shouted with a smile as the attackes hit both Myotismon and Ray both were consumed by a bright light and for a while no one knew what happened to Ray. As the smoke cleared they all saw him Ray lieing on the ground both the angel digimon reverted to Patamon and Gotomon as T.K. and Kari ran towards Ray's motionless body he was not in good shape he had the stab wound where both the arrow and blade went. "no....it..can't be i..it just can't no NNNOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!" Kari cried out as she looked at Ray tears fell from her face T.K. wasn't takeing this situation any better "no Ray he has lost so much before this now he is gone a kind person is what this world needs but now.....now another kind person has died without a cause" T.K. said rambleing on "IT ISN'T FAIR WHY RAY WHY?" Kari cried out as T.K. tried to confort her then Gotomon noticed something "HEY WHATS THAT?" she asked pointing at a light eminateing from Ray's chest Kari looked and pulled out his pendant which was glowing brighter and brighter "you greve his death as well thank you but can you bring him back?" Kari spoke to the stone as if it were a person then it shimmered and it floated above Ray's dead body. The pendant gave off a strong light and opened a pillar of light that shoot up into the heavens several smaller balls of light flew down and went into the body of the fallen hero when this was done onother pulse of light was sent around the room and finally entered Rays body. Everyone was silent as they looked at Ray they were about to lose hope when they heard Ray moaned "unnmm oohh Kari?" Ray asked not knowing where he was looking up at Kari "RAY YOUR ALIVE!" Kari shouted as she hugged Ray he returned the hug and saw everyone's relive as Ray got to his feet "Lets go home i'd rather be there than here any longer" Ray said as he formed a portal to the real world everyone entered and went home. "OH I'M SO GLAD YOU TWO ARE OK" Mrs. Kamiya cried as she gave both Ray and Kari a hug after they had filled their friends and family in on what has happened to them. "Boy i'm just a stranger but she is treating me like i'm a part of the family" Ray thought to himself. When Mrs.Kamiya let them go she looked at Ray "Theres something I have to tell you Ray, Kari ,Tai" she said softly "Whats that mom?" Tai asked as everyone gathered "Well Ray I really don't know how to tell you but......your our long lost son" she said sadly "WHAT? HE'S MY BROTHER?!" both Tai and Kari asked upsetly as Ray started for the door "Where are you going Ray?" Sora asked "I just need some time alone to let this set in" Ray replied "I'll be back later" He told them "I'm going with you" Sora insisted "If Sora's going then i'll go too" Tai said "ok fine by me Kari wants me to talk to you two anyway" Ray said sounding distracted "Later" they all said "Ray" Mrs. Kamiya said as Ray left "Don't worry mom it's hard on him you know" Kari said trying to cheer her mother up but she wasn't any better. Ray, Tai, and Sora wen't into a park and sat down near a tree "Look both of you have fellings for each other right?" Ray started "Yes but I don't know" Sora started sounding depressed "Look just tell him" Ray insisted "You'll never know what'll happen if it's too late" Ray added then Tai came running up "Guys why did you lkeave me back there?" Tai asked with an anoyed tone "Sorry hey Tai Sora wants to ask you something" Ray said nugging Sora towards Tai "Ummm Tai hows about we umm go out you know on a date?" She asked nerviously "Sure I was going to ask you out any way" Tai admitted as he scrached the back of his head and giggling like an idiot. "So when is it?" Ray asked couriously "Umm saturday at 8:00pm" Sora said giveing Tai no room for rebutal "Hey hows bout a picture to remind us of this day" Sora suggested as she pulled out a pocket camera and gave it to Ray "Ha say cheese" Ray told them "Hey bro this is a happy moment not a funeral come on smile" Ray told his new big brother then both Tai and Sora were happy as Ray took the picture as Tai and Sora left she turnd around "I'll give you a copy when its developed" she said as they left Ray was now alone with his thoughts..
