Ray woke up at the oasis he was the first he started thinking about some of the things that has happened he also started to remember those happy times he had with Odessa. "Boy alot has happened to me in these last 10 years since then" Ray said to himself as he got up Gotomon was next to wake up she saw Ray stareing at the water "hey Ray whats wrong?" she asked with concern. "Hmmm oh it's you oh its nothing really" Ray insisted but Gotomon gave him a suspitious look "Just because you and Kari look alike doesn't mean a thing" the little cat suggested trying to help out Ray just looked back at the cat he didn't know what to say to her he was in his thoughts "Its just.....well for my entire life i've only experianced loss and little gain it's sorta depressing you know" Ray explaned Gotomon just nodded her head in agreement "I know what you mean before I meet Kari I was alone and became evil but when she came into the picture I just knew that well we were ment to be partners I don't know how I just knew" she said offering the advice Ray just stood there he took out his sword "Odessa and I were very close we were to be married by next year" Ray said as Gotomon gave him a shocked look "All my life I've felt out of place like I didn't belong but the moment I came to Japan I just felt like 'this is where I belong' and nothing else mattered" Ray told Gotomon as the others started to wake up "Boy that was a nice sleep" Puppetmon said as he yawned "PAPA!!" Mariline shouted as she ran up to Ray who picked her up and put her on his shoulder Ray just smiled as Kari walked up to him in a cheery mood "Well Ray shall we go?" she asked as Ray put Mariline down "Lets go" Ray said "How are we going to get there?" Puppetmon asked as Ray gave him a look "We'll take the express of course" Kari suggested everyone looked over at her as she took out her d-terminal she first wrote a message saying that everyone is ok and that they are heading for Primary village. Then Kari shouted "DIGI-ARMOR ENERGISE" "GOTOMON ARMOR DIGIVOLVE TO NEFERTIMON THE ANGEL OF LIGHT" everyone excludeing Kari was surprised at Gotomons latest transformation but there wasn't enough room for everyone to ride on Nefertimon. "Great now what are we going to do?" Kari asked a little anoyed "Don't worry I'll just fly or float" Ray explaned as his body begain to levatate and begain to fly "I'll take Mariline you and Puppetmon can ride Nefertimon " Sounds ok by me just be sure I don't get a splinter" Nefertimon comented "humph this is the things I get for defecting" Puppetmon complaned as he sat on the catlike angel behind Kari "Ok lets go" Ray suggested and with that they were off. Meanwhile at Tai's place the girls were haveing one of their chats the boys went out for a bit and Tai's parents both went out as well "Hey have you noticed that Mr. and Mrs. Kamiya have been acting weird ever since Ray came along?" Sora asked not knowing if it was a good thing to bring up "I've just meet them so my opinion is invaled" Aeris sighed "Now that you mentchen it yeah they have" Mimi observed "Yeah, their usually chearful but now....." Sora observed as her voice trailed off "Where did they go anyway?" Aeris asked with concern "To see Dr.Joe of course" Mimi giggled she just couldn't see how Joe who always faint at the slightest menchen of blood was now a docter. "By the way Mimi how did you meet Ray's pals here?" Sora asked as she looked at Aeris who was tieing her hair back into a ponytail "Don't mind me I'm just doing up my hair" she told them "Well my dad was transfered up into Canada when we got there we were attacked by hoodlems they were scary they were asking 'wheres the dark one' and threating our lives we didn't think we'd make it but as they brought out their knives Ray came along with a girl by his side the hoodlems started to attack Ray but he got rid of them with his magic" Mimi explaned as Aeris reacted to the story "That was four years ago a year after we defeated Malomyotismon" Mimi told them "That girl he was with was Odessa" Aeris added "Yeah in the short time I knew her she was very kind and she always fought for the justice for others" Mimi added with sorrow in her voice "It must be hard seeing the ones you love the most perish right in front of your eyes" Sora added with deep sorrow in her voice "hey how did we go from talking about the Kamiya's to Ray?" Mimi asked sounding confused the other girls just shruged their shoulders then a grin came over Mimi's face "So have you asked Tai out yet?" Mimi asked as Sora looked away "I guess not eh" Mimi said being proud of herself "Funny what about you and Matt?" Sora retorted now Mimi was looking away as Sora giggled "so now we're even" Sora cheered Aeris was thinking about something "Whats wrong Aeris?" Sora asked with concern "Well its just Ray always helps oters with problems with the heart but he can't seem to solve his own problems"Aeris started with concern but then erupted in giggles them Sora and Mimi looked at each other then at Aeris who has finally calmed down "Whats so funny Aeris?" Mimi asked "Yeah spill it whats the joke?" Sora asked Mimi looked at her "You've been hanging around Tai too much" Mimi comented Sora blushed as Aeris gave them a look "HEY I THOUGHT YOU WANTED ME TO TELL YOU WHATS SO FUNNY!" Aeris shouted Mimi and Sora both motioned her to continue "Well we've been to other worlds other than this and the digital we've been to a world of darkness, and a totaly other world" Aeris told them "Wait a minute Kari has been to that dark world we call it the dark ocean" Sora inerupted "For good reason now can I finish?" Aeris asked in an anoyed manner both Sora and Mimi were quiet "Thank you any way in this other world Ray meet this girl who is his age and was totaly obsesed with him she even has a shrine dedicated to him" Aeris explaned as they all broke out into laughter. "Reminds you of someone?" Mimi asked Sora nodded "JUNE" both shouted as Aeris was now confused as the girls continued lets see about the guys The boys were at the park and they were also talking about Ray "So whats the deal about Ray and Kari any guesses?" Tai asked no knowing if he could trust Ray's buds "Look me and Ray have been friends for years besides he has to stay alive or else my feance will kill me" Richard told the crew John just snikered "And thats the only thing your afraid of isn't it?" John comented as Richard just turned away "Anyway whats going on here?" T.K. asked as Ken and Davis came into the park "What took you two?" Matt asked slightly anoyed "Sorry but my sister still has an obsession" Davis told them "Yeah an obsession named Matt" T.K. pointed out everyone laughed even John "Hey Ray has a crest right?" Izzy asked both John and Richard nodded their heads "Its the crest of Darkness" John told them "Opossing crests how interesting" Izzy begain to think about this really hard "Kari's crest is Light I only hope that no harm comes ti either one" Izzy rambled on "WHAT DO YOU MEAN?" Tai demanded "COOL IT TAI" Matt told his friend Tai calmed down "Hey wheres joe and the others?" T.K asked "Joes working and Cody has kendo as for Yolei she is going to meet us at my house" Tai said "Lets head back and see if the girls have thought of any thing" Ken suggested everyone agreed and headed off. Back at the digiworld Kari, Ray, Mariline, and the others have made it to Primary village it was still the same as it has always been but then several digimon stopped the group from entering "Whats going on here?" Ray demanded the two guards who were both knightmon turned around and attacked Ray and only Ray Nefertimon went back to the Gotomon stage "Do we need to help him?" Gotomon asked as Kari watched Ray fight then she saw his sword on the ground she picked it up and charged at one of the knightmon Ray saw this and then something came over him a light formed around his hand and a energy blade was formed Ray swong it at one of the knightmon and defeated it with ease the second went after Kari who just thrusted the blade right into the attacking monster it was defeated just as easly but Kari couldn't beleve what she had done Ray and the others went over to Kari who just stared at the blade "I..I..I heard a voice it told me I was doing the right thing" Kari was now getting hysterical "Look Kari I hate to kill as well but these were Sara's minions look they were created from control spyres" Ray pointed out trying to help out. "Look Ray I..I.." Kari started but Puppetmon interupted "Look I was evil and I killed for no reason but we have to try to help the victoms" Kari was surprised at hoe sincere Puppetmon was being Gotomon patted him on the back hopeing to help it did a little Puppetmon just smiled then Ray turned around "I'll continue alone this is something I need to do on my own" He told the others "Mariline you be good and listen to Kari ok" He said to his daughter she nodded her head and stood by Kari as Ray went into the village it was dark foggy and unfriendly then something was glowing in the distance "Ray i'm here please find me" a voice called out "WHELPMON WHERE ARE YOU?!!!!" Ray called out the glowing got brighter as Both Ray's crest and pendant started to glow as well Ray came up to a digiegg then Ray was overcome with something inside of him several balls of light energed from Ray and entered the digiegg "Thank you buddy now I can be reborn" the voice called out as the light got bigger and stronger it over came Ray and blinded him. When everything settled down Ray saw that the egg was shattered and a little green dragon type digimon layed there "Whelpmon I'm so glad your back" Ray said chokeing back the tears in his eyes. "Ray......is that you?" the little dragon asked weakly "Yes its me" Ray said as he picked up his friend and carried him out of the village but as they left a light formed over Ray it shot a beam at Whelpmon which caused him to be healthy and fully active then it landed in Ray's hands forming into the digiegg of Darkness it was like the digiegg of Friendship only it had horns comeing out of the sides and it had the crest of Darkness on it then Ray heard Kari scream he ran as fast as he could to see what was going on. "Kari whats going on?" Ray asked as he saw a new enemy to fight "No it can't be it's impossable" Gotomon stammered "Myotismon? Here? this isn't good" Ray comented as he and whelpmon prepared for battle
