You came to me on a warm spring day
And filled my heart with song
Rainbows coloured
Danced in tune
With flowers as they bloomed
Summer followed and warmer still
My heart had felt for you
Sunshine wrapping
Kept us laughing
As the days would never end
Autumn came and like fallen leaves
Love began to fade
My tears became the rain
Falling in cold, dark ground
And I relinquished love
Winter fell silently and coldness filled
A heart that once was warm
And while you danced away
I vowed a vow to keep till death
