They tell us how it used to be
The ancients sitting in the Sun
A moon that rose with the purest glow
Countries united, divided and falling
Nature ravished and slain
Here we live banished by the devil - global pollution
We listen to their dreaming tales
Then turn our backs on their mistakes
To concentrate on ours
For here again
Might mankind make these seas die
Will he clear the forests and vales
Make air a stench in his nostrils
Will he eat through a new planet
Like maggot or worm
Or will mankind learn to learn
This planet
Is praying.
