XANDER ON ANGEL? Cinescape Online 2/21/00 Don’t look for Buffy the Vampire Slayer’s Xander to be popping up any time soon on the Angel TV series. While talking to Eon Magazine, Nicholas Brendan explained why it doesn’t make sense for his character to journey to L.A. to hook up with the Angel cast, saying, "There’s really no reason for me. Xander hates Angel, and he’s in LA, and we’re in Northern California. I know they talked about it. They were talking about using Alyson and me in episode 3, but they used Seth instead to give Angel the ring because it made more sense. I don’t think it’s going to happen. Which is fine, because we’re busy here, and when you’re doubling up, it’s ‘Oh shoot, I’ve got to go over there!’ If they ask me to do it, of course I will, but I don’t think that I would fit into their plotline over there."
