6/25/02: South Korea's dream of winning the World Cup came to an abrupt and sad end with their 1-0 loss in the semifinal match against Germany...Despite strong support for the team, especially from the 'Red Devils,' the Korean team could not make a goal in the last minutes of the game after Ballack's goal for the Germans...Although the chance of winning the World Cup this year is gone, Koreans across the globe are still celebrating that their team advanced so far in the series, becoming the first Asian team to reach the semifinals...Perhaps Korea will win the World Cup in 2006, but until then, we could keep the hope alive by chanting, "Dae Han Min Gook!"
6/22/02: Hyori and Juhyun lent their talents to sing and write lyrics for the Nah Bbeun Yuh Jah Deul (Bad Girls) OST, which stars Sung Yuri...Hyori wrote the lyrics for the songs "Chuh Eum Chuh Ruhm" and "Yuhn In," which she sang solo...Juhyun wrote the lyrics for "You & Me" and sang "Young Won Hee"...As a group, FinKL sang "Chuh Eum Chuh Ruhm."
5/18/02: FinKL recently filmed their new Milk CF, called Woo Yoo, inspite of their hectic schedules, which includes Jin's part in New Nonstop and Yuri's position in Nah Bbeun Yah Jah Deul.
- On a recent SBS Countdown show, Hyori was picked as the sexiest female by several male stars, including Lim Chang Jung...she revealed that her waist size is 24 inches and that she can't wear spaghetti-strap dresses or tops because of her broad shoulders(?).
- FinKL will soon begin advertising the new Dae Woo car, 'Ä®·Î½º,' which will compete with the 'World Car' by Hyundai that G.O.D. is sponsoring...both companies are using the two groups as ways to advertise their new car models.
5/11/02: Yuri recently began filming for her new drama, Nah Bbeun Yuh Jah Deul (Bad Girls)...to watch the drama, check your local korean video stores in a couple of weeks...
- On May 10th, Hyori celebrated her 23rd birthday
- Starting on May 20, Lee Jin will be part of New Nonstop's new cast, including Kang Hae Jung, Choi Min Yong, cable VJ, and Dana...they will take over for the parts of Jang Nara, Park Kyung Lim, Jo In Sung, Yang Dong Geun, and Kim Young Joon, who left their positions to tackle other ventures...
- FinKL's new song, Don't Go Away, opened in 14th place on April's 4th week SBS Inki Gayo...five weeks later, the song has only gone up two slots to be in 12th place this week...
- Juhyun, SES, Kim Tae Woo (GOD), Lee Gi Chan, and Park Jin Young will make special appearances during Park Ji Yoon's "Sweet Concert" on May 25 at Sejong University in Seoul...
- On May 5, Love Concert was held at Olympic Stadium to celebrate and promote World Cup 2002. The event was hosted by comedian Go Myung Hwan and actress Oh Joo Eun. FinKL was the opening act and they were followed by top singers Lee Jae Jin, Click B, Koyote, Jang Nara, and JTL. The proceeds from the concert are being used to purchase 7,777 soccer balls to distribute to elementary schools and orphanages throughout Korea. The number 7,777 was chosen to bring luck to the children who will receive the soccer balls.

4/20/02: FinKL's next song that they will perform is "Don't Go Away," track #13 on their 4th album...they came to this decision after the pressure from their fans, who wanted to see them perform a dance song as a change from the ballad songs...
According to a recent article, FinKL and many other stars, such as Shinhwa and Shin Seung Hoon, suffer from stomach problems, which is caused by their hectic schedules...the top five reasons for this is because of their excessive stress and irregular eating habits, their vulnerability to chronic diseases, the stresses from plastic surgery, severe choreographed dances, and bad memories from their past...

4/14/02: On this week's SBS Inki Gayo, FinKL's "Young Won" reached the King of Kings status by keeping the #1 spot for three weeks in a row...they beat J-Walk's new song, "Suddenly," with the vote count of 17732-16692
About a week ago, rumors surfaced on the internet that said that Hyori had died from some kind of liver problem, perhaps because of her drinking habits...this caused much distress amongst FinKL fans, but the rumor turned out to false...it is safe to say that the rumor was started by anti-finkl fans looking to enjoy themselves with the effects the rumor would have...
4/13/02: On this week's MBC Music Camp, FinKL finally reached the #1 position with their song, "Young Won..." they were up against Koyote's, "Bi Mong," and won with the vote count of 984-902
For J's much anticipated 4th album, Dim the Lights, Ock Juhyun wrote the lyrics to one of the songs, called "Same." In preparation for her part in the drama, "Nah Bbeun Yuhjah Deul" (Bad Girls), Yuri recently added extensions to her short hair...Jin also had a little hair change, by coloring her hair brown and thinning it out a bit...
4/10/01: FinKL recently began filming their parts in the sitcom, "Let's Go." Jin is cast as Han Gee Bum's sister and the other members portray gansterish friends...the first episode aired on April 8...as a downside, Jin had a change of mind and will be cast in "New Newstop," which is now recruiting new actors after the wildy popular sitcom ended with the actors, Jo In Sung and Park Kyung Lim...Jin came to this decision because she felt that "Let's Go" already had enough actors and talents, and felt that she could lend her talent to "New Nonstop..." the producer of "Let's Go" did feel betrayed by Jin's decision, but hopes the best for her acting career...Jin's last appearance will be on 4.19.02...to download the first three shows of "Let's Go," go to the Multimedia section...
Lee Hyori recently began her MC position on "Time Machine" with quite a happy surprise...the show had its highest viewing of 27.7% by jumping up 3.7% from its average...even though this isn't a huge rise especially to American standards, it is considered high in Korea, since the average viewing increase is only a mere 1%...many believe that Hyori's captivating beauty and sense of humor will continue to make the show a success and Hyori says, "Next time, I'll try to get it up to 30%."

4/05/01: On last week's Music Camp, FinKL's "Young Won" was not able to beat SES's "U," with the vote count of 849-957 votes...this week, FinKL lost once again on MBC's Music Camp against Shin Seung Hoon with the vote count of 866-881
On a recent Suh Sae Won show, Hyori admitted that she gets frustrated at Yuri because she always seems to get all the attention from her male friends because being as shy and quiet as she is, Yuri is never willing to introduce herself, causing them to try harder and harder to get to know her...
