Derrick Reed (James Loizou) lives a monotonous and colorless life and can’t help retreating into the adventurous comic escapes of the almighty Ultraman lore. Despite the efforts of his best friend Jack (Robert Wingfield) to grow up and talk to the girl of his dreams (Nora Turner), Derrick can’t bring himself to it, and thus, he begins to slip away into a blurred sense of reality and fiction. The plot thickens with the mysterious appearances of an infamous villain (Michael Maisel), as he haunts the story’s tragic hero.

Can Derrick overcome his own weaknesses and defeat his new foe?

Will he win the heart of the girl he has always admired from afar?
