Career
Class and experience - this is one defender any coach would like in his team. He has great presence both on the pitch and in the dressing room. After Vialli's departure Ciro took over the role as leader of the group. His considerable tenacity has helped him overcome the serious injury he picked up in the 1997/98 championship season.
Interests
He likes listening to music, in particular Pino Daniele and he never misses an opportunity to sing when he is among friends. During the official presentation of the 1999/2000 team Ciro sang a duet with Edoardo Bennato. He loves jokes - every day is like April Fools' day with Ciro. His favourite cartoon character is Mickey Mouse.
