Career

A wide midfielder who has already demonstrated with his former club Udinese that he possesses the qualities needed for the top flight. At ease either going forward or in defence, Bachini can play either on his favoured left or on the right.

Interests

He is married to Lina and has a daughter called Asia. Even though he comes from the fun-loving Italian city of Livorno he doesn't like to joke around. Living in Udine for a number of years has made him a very reserved person.

Ancelotti's view: "One of his greatest gifts is his ability to run at players. The wide players' role is of great importance as it gives continuity to the game."
