Hunter's Home Page
Hello, my name is Hunter. I am, what my people condsider to be a cantakerous little Basset Hound! (I'm not sure what that means, but I'm pretty sure it's a good thing, isn't it?!) I was about 3 months old when this picture was taken - I'm much bigger now, weighing around 50 lbs! I'm quite a shock to my 'mom' who's never had a dog who weighed more than 15 lbs. before!
My 'mom' and 'dad' adopted me when I was 8 weeks old (they say it was love at first sight!). I am now 10 months old, and already I have them convinced that they will never get another dog who is not a Basset Hound! I guess I'm just so well behaved that I've ruined it for all the other breeds! J
I don't know what else to say about myself right now, but I will add more pictures of myself as I get older. You can email me if you would like to - I only get email from my 'cousin' Benji, and would like a few new friends to chat with! My 'mom' also says she's going to add a sound file of my beautiful baying voice, but we'll see just how dedicated she really is to me!

Well, it's been almost three months now, and my mom still has not added anything to my page. Frankly, I'm getting quite annoyed with her! If she would just let me do this myself it would be a way cooler page! I threatened to chew her last remaining pair of shoes if she didn't write something today, but she still hasn't gotten more pictures of me or a sound file either. It's hard to find good slaves these days!
Still no update?!!? I'm getting very disappointed in my mom's dedication! I am almost One and a Half, and still the only picture of me is when I was 3 months old! Unbelievable! Maybe, just maybe, I will get a nice Christmas photo in this year - she's got 3 weeks to redeem herself!! Merry Christmas 2000 Everyone!
Well, what do you know!! My mom loves me afterall!! Just look at all these pictures of me!! I'm about 1 and 1/2 when these were taken. Mom says I look a lot more innocent than I really am!
Now it is January 2003, and we're finally getting an update!! It's been busy around here...we have 3 new additions to our family...2 small humans and one cat. (Don't tell anyone, but I really do enjoy having a cat as a buddy...shhh!) Here's a picture of my new friend...
It's no wonder there have been no updates in the past 2 years...mom and dad have been kinda' busy. They still make time for me though - not as much as before when it was just the 3 of us, but we're managing! Here's what I look like now...
It is with sad regret that I must say there will be no more updates on Hunter's Web Page. Hunter, being a typical bassethound, likes to have all of the attention for himself, and was beginning to have trouble sharing his 'mom' with the aforementioned 2 small humans that we aquired! I am hoping Hunter has no trouble being adopted into a new, child-free home soon. June 2005
