Riverwind is the grandson of Wanderer, who was the grandson of a priest of Mishakal and the daughter of a Knight of Solamnia who survived the Cataclysm. Riverwind won Goldmoon's permission of marriage by completing a horrible quest to prove his worthiness. Riverwind is perhaps best known for his tracking abilities, and his ability to successfully complete difficult and dangerous quests into enemy lands. Riverwind and his younger daughter, Brightdawn, were killed leading a kender army against Malystyrx.
