Vampires are defined in the websters dictionary as: A reanimated corpse,supposted to suck the blood of sleeping persons at night; one who preys ruthlessly on others; any of various South and Central American bats which suck blood.

ways to kill a vampire

• place in direct sunlight (although, older vampires may not die from exposure to sunlight
• burn... scatter the ashes
• impale... a stake through the heart is the oldest trick in the book
