Hehehehe!!! Yay Johnny! Well we all know how funny this episode was, so I won't bother listing all the laughs. So briefly:

1) The opening credits - hahahahaha!!!

2) Buffy-Riley:
Yet again Faith gets in between Buffy and her beau of the moment. Geez - how much taller is Riley compared to the Buff! Looked like an uncomfy dance there for a while.

Anywho, here's my take on the coupleness of them:
I don't care.
In my characteristically contradictory fashion, I've come to the realisation that the chemistry between R&B is seriously waning, and that Riley really no longer poses any kind of threat to Angel. In fact, Angel is so decidedly above Iowa boy that one simply demeans the Dark Knight by drawing a comparison between the two.

Although the B/A relationship was stretched to its limits, it was always alive with angsty passion and heated sexual tension. Now that B and R are going steady, things have just gotten stale. Riley is now just this guy who goes out with Buffy because they need a so-called romantic storyline for the main character. Fish boy is severely lacking in personality and even more deficient in use. Buff, you need yourself a real man, gurl. Preferably of the undead variety.
And since you've given Angel the boot…
Oh, Spike-y, where are you…!

3) Tara/Willow: More with the prolonging the obvious. Have to say that Tara is getting on my nerves. OK, I get that she's supposed to be shy and unsure - but her character has just ended up being dorky and stereotypical because of the poor acting.

3) Xander/Anya: Yeah, we're sick of the compulsive sex joke already. Give us some real Xander, please.

4) Spike: Oooo, didya see the way he was making eyes at Buffy when she slammed him against the gravestone, didya, didya? Desire, pure et simple.

Funky episode, even if it did kinda cancel itself out. PS: Missing the Angel dynamic in BtVS.
