"Taylor!! Where have you been?" Walker asked sternly when Taylor finally entered the backstage area. He looked like a mess, his hair tousled, his shirt half tucked into his pants, his black jeans ruffled and wrinkled. "Please pack up your stuff pronto, Taylor. No more of this doddling. Lets get moving please, we were supposed to be out of here an hour ago!" He said forcefully. Taylor nodded, in a daze, and headed of to get his stuff.
When everything was packed up, everyone filed into the bus. Taylor kept to himself, happy that nobody was talking to him. He didn't want to talk, he didn't want to pretend like nothing was wrong. But he didn't want to tell. This sort of thing didn't happen to boys! Everybody would think it was silly. It was his fault. Couldn't he have stopped her? Thinking back, he wondered why he hadn't ran. WHY HADN'T HE??? 'You're so stupid Taylor' he thought to himself, falling into his bunk. He looked out the tiny cabin window. Seeing all his adoring fans screaming, he started to cry. He wanted help. He wanted to dissapear into that crowd of screaming girls. He wanted to be like them, so carefree and innocent. So free of worries. He wondered how it had happened, how his innocence had been stolen so easily.
When the bus came to a stop at the hotel, Taylor grabbed his stuff and headed upstairs. He could barely see anything. The world was a blurr. Around him he saw almost nothing. He heard laughter. Adrian and Zac. He wished them well. They were so happy. And they deserved it. He hoped nothing like this would happen to them. More dazed than ever he entered his hotel room. He headed straight for the bathroom and turned on the water. Stripping down to nothing, he climbed in the tub. He sighed at the feeling of the warm water circling his body, swallowing the dirty feeling, cleasing him. He was unaware that the evidence had now been distroyed. But he wouldn't have cared. His mind was empty of all thoughts. He just lay there. Thoughtless. He looked around himself, and his eyes rested on his razor. He had put it on the side of the tub after shaving. It was conveniently in reach. Not knowing why Taylor reached out and held it in his hands. A strange smile took over his lips, and he pressed it against his arm, running it along the lower side of his wrist. "Ouch" he quietly said. he took the razor and did the same to the other arm. He smiled. 'Free', he thought.
"Adrian!" Zac said. "Hey Zac." Adrian said, knocking on Taylors hotel room door. "What are ya doing?" Zac asked, curiously. "Just going to see if Taylor will lend me his shampoo. I feel like taking a bath, and his shampoo makes my hair shiny." she said. "Cool." Zac said, smiling. "I just came by to see if he was alright. I kinda noticed that he looked a little sad when he came back to the dressing room." He said. "Yeah, I noticed too." Adrian said, knocking again. "Taylor?" She called. "He should come...." Zac said, knocking as well. "Taylor!!" He called. Both Adrian and Zac looked at each other. Neither of them knew why, but fear encircled them. They both started pounding on the door. "TAYLOR!!" They called loudly. Pounding and twisting at the knob, they managed to open the door. Not expecting it to fly open, Zac found himself on the floor of Taylors hotel room. Adrian entered. "Taylor!" She called. She noticed that the mirrors in the bathroom were fogged, and the door was open, so she walked in. Adrian was too shocked to scream at the sight that lay before her. Taylor was in a pool of blood, his eyes half shut. She was surprised when he turned to look at her. "Hey Adrian" he said peacefully, before slipping into the water. "ZAC!!!!!!" Adrian yelled at the top of her lungs. "HELP ME! Oh GOD HELP ME!" Zac rushed in, and nothing could have prepared him for what he saw. Ignoring the fact that Taylor was naked, Adrian pulled him out of the water. "Zac, help me! Hes heavy!" She said. Zac snapped out of his idle state and helped Adrian pull Zac out. "Call 911!" She ordered him. She grabbed Taylors shirt and wrapped it tightly around one of his wrists which was still gushing with blood, then she rushed to the bedroom, yanking a drawer out with such force it flew out and hit the wall. She grabbed another shirt and rushed back to the bathroom to tie it around his other wrist. Remembering the first aid training she had received in school, she propped his limp arms against the cabinet, so that they were above his heart. Just then the paramedics burst in. "WHERE IS HE?" They called loudly. "Over here!" Adrian yelled. The paramedics quickly grabbed Taylor and put him on a stretcher, covering him with a thin white blanket. "LETS MOVE!" one of the paramedics ordered. Zac and Adrian chased them out of the room and down the hall, into the ambulance waiting out front. Adrian jumped into the ambulance after Tay had been lauded in. Zac paused for a moment behind her. He noticed a crowd of fans, just to their left. For the first time they weren't screaming, and their tears were not of nervousness or excitement. They were those of sorrow and fear. It broke Zacs heart in a way he could not comprehend.
